Doesn't look exactly marathon safe, if a single mistake can ruin the run.
Most of the runs while do have a lot of RNG don't have a ton of places that you just lose the run on. There are a few spots where you can run into issues with losing some time, but you don't have to do resets nearly as often if you are just doing a marathon run.

I was talking specifically about the RNG abuse run, since you lose it if you make a cursor mistake. But maybe you can reset it fairly easy, depending on how it works.

Looked like reset means doing the entire level over so no. Thats not something you can do in a marathon.
RNG manipulation with GBA games is rather an interesting thing. Some games can be manipulated to ridiculous degrees ex. FE and Golden Sun games are hilariously brokenly manipulable. While other games the RNG is almost impossible to control example being the Kingdom Hearts GBA game.

The RNG is snapshotted at the start of each chapter. So you'd only have to reset the chapter, not the whole run. ...and because the RNG is controlled, chapters are a lot faster.
