"10 char" Thankfully not seen on these boards. "I don't know nothin" But you're closer than most. "There's no way to know" ... a cop out when someone doesn't want to be wrong and doesn't 'believe' in google "Well I came here with nothing" What people say on quiz shows to justify making a dumb decision "You think so?" In response to me stating an opinion -.- "Be careful" when I'm chopping veggies or doing anything else that'd be dangerous for a toddler. No shit, I'm not setting out to cut my fingers off.

1.- His name is Blake, he's not Jesus Christ. 2.- Annoys me no end or annoys me to no end. 3.- No end, even worse. Makes no sense.
Congratulations, you win. ♥

When did it stop being tic tac toe sign, that's what really ruffles my feathers. Joking aside:
"At the end of the day" and "that's life." If I hear this at work one more time, I'm going to have to hurt someone.

I'm a personal friend of both Blake and Jesus Christ and I can confirm they are not the same person

Any reddit saying.
eg. "As a ______ i can confirm this"
Funny by formula is so irritating. Even worse is when people reply to these cliches with formulaic responses.

god this quote is so dumb. it's not profound or insightful or anything. it just gives two very obvious possibilities that when added together have a probability of 1. it's like saying, you either starve or you eat. you either go to bed hungry or you stay awake long enough to eventually eat something. you either take a dump or hold it in long enough to hurt. OF COURSE you either die a hero or you live long enough to become a villain. god dammnit you are gonna die eventually, so one of two situations will be true when you die - you're a hero or you're a villain. man, it's a great movie and ledger's performance was legendary, but this is such a dumbfuck quote for a movie this good.
I think you're missing the point of the quote, which is to convey the idea that the passage of time (and the events that occur in that passage) eventually corrupt even the most noble of heroes. It's not just "You either die a hero or a villain" (note that I agree that the quote does imply that, but that's not the main message of the quote at all). Rather, it's "No ideal of heroism can stand against the corrupting influence of a fundamentally evil/unjust world". That's why you either die while those ideals are still alive within you, or you inevitably fall from grace. Obviously, that's just Dent's mindset and it's meant to convey how broken Dent was at that point, and to say that it's just a trite statement of obviousness doesn't do it justice.

It's a phrase that means demanding too much, which is funny, because I think if you have some cake it's perfectly reasonable to expect to be able to eat it. What the hell else is cake for? When I first heard that expression I didn't understand it well either, and don't like it now. I know generally what you're saying, but is you're question rhetorical? If the question isn't rhetorical, the answer (at least as far as I understand) is that a person wants their cake as decoration because it's a pretty cake (perhaps one of the nice themed ones which one sees on the internet or TV). Obviously once a cake is eaten, it can no longer be decoration.

Oh totally. Nice ones
"There's no way to know" ... a cop out when someone doesn't want to be wrong and doesn't 'believe' in google I don't know what you mean, and/or disagree. Google, nor anything else does not allow people to know everything. Even if there's a good indicator of something, it still doesn't necessarily make the thing true.

Mine: GG when someone didn't think it was a good game. Truth matters more than some sort of silly custom/etiquette. It loses it's entire meaning if its used all the time.
On March 05 2013 06:02 JazzNL wrote: ''Expect GG any moment guys''
THANKS FOR F*CKING RUINING IT YOU TWAT! Huh? isn't it obvious when the game is over? How is it spoiling it by calling a game that's sealed?
The thing I dislike is when someone like a caster might say "and that's GG" (whether or not it's before a player says it). The reason is essentially the same for why I already mentioned; The game being over does not make it a good game. If it's a good game, it will be evident by minute 5, or 18, or 42, not just at the end. They should say "this is a good game" when they think so, and they should say "this is game over", when they think so. It's completely perverted to do anything else

Someone who says "You got it" after explaining something to you, it's a little bit patronising.
Person A: How does this system work? Person B: You basically X the Y Person A: Ok, i'll X the Y Person B: Thats it.... you got it!
Probably shouldn't wind me up but it does.

"I died right then and there" - one my brother says often. Any variation of dying, when not meant literally, is stupid. What's worse is when people tack on "literally" somewhere in the phrase and don't mean it.
"Like" "Retarded" - to describe things in a derogatory way that is also out of context. "Plethora" - I catch casters and even my teachers misusing it. No, it does not mean "a lot" or "myriad." It means TOO much. Oh, so there's a plethora of viewers and you would like your stream to have less? Or maybe Starcraft 2 has a plethora of strategies available and you want the game reduced to one strategy per race? People have to stop misusing this word. I didn't know that about plethora. Learning from context has its disadvantages when people are wrong. Thanks! My pet peeve (one of many anyway) is "would of, could of, should of".. It's HAVE ffs! Would've = would have! Would of what? Of fucking what? You would of stupid be made? It's so obviously wrong and nonsensical yet almost a majority of people for whom English is the first language can't seem to grasp that nowadays. In fact it's so common a misconception that I'd be stunned if someone didn't call me out over this.
This is incorrect (unless your are an Classical physician of course), in its modern sense 'plethora' can mean:
3. Usu. with of. Originally in pejorative sense: an excessive supply, an overabundance; an undesirably large quantity. Subsequently, and more usually, in neutral or favourable sense: a very large amount, quantity, or variety.
Oxford English Dictionary
More to the point, the meaning of a word develops over time and through usage. Literally, if enough people use a word in a communicative way (that is, in an acceptable fashion to the receiver) then the entry in the dictionary will change. A dictionary is a recording of language, not an authority in the strictest sense.

You prefer RTS or what? You didn't say what's wrong with moba, nor any alternatives, so why did you even make this post?
Hmm, this got me to thinking. Maybe "Discretely Instanced Team-based Competitive RPG" would be good, but there's some problems: - long - contains hyphenated word - contains slightly "advanced" words - contains the term "RPG", which I hate for games that are currently called RPGs. This word on it's own is a whole new can of worms. It needs a replacement, but it's hard and/or still inaccurate to replace with things like "Action Game with Character Progression" or others.
