Anyways this is known as a "argumentum ad populum" and is a logical fallacy.
It cant be wrong in the sense that its your opinion, but it can be based upon lies and false facts, or be an incorrect conclusion.
Besides claiming that X is in a certain way is more than an opinion, its a statement. Not sure why youre talking about opinions.

This is to all Dota players..
Nothing surprises more ( and somewhat annoys me ) than the most common phrase shared by the opposing team.
" Please report [ insert random person of their team ]. "
In all seriousness, when?! just when have you ever seen/witnessed someone from the other team say " Okay I shall report him because he was bad and fed us and made us win " .. NEVER ~!! So stop saying it~ It looks stupid, it is stupid and its dumb no one ever cares except the rare occasion where they're mocking you.

While I agree with your sentiment, I don't know why you're putting the word memes in inverted commas. A meme is a reflection of a society's culture. Which is exactly what they are.

One dumb thing people say is:
What do you weigh? And the other answers in pounds or kilograms. The correct answer should be newtons since it is measure of force.
The right question is what is your mass? If you want someone to answer in lbs or kgs.
But if you do this people get confused because they know jack squat about physics.

I have already reported people from the opposing team who I thought were feeding on purpose or playing so horribly bad that they just shouldn't play against me. (of course the latter only occured like twice in about a thousand games)

Not sure about that, I'll always report players from the enemy team if they intentionally feed/afk. Can't report for being bad though, regardless of which side you're on.

THANKS FOR F*CKING RUINING IT YOU TWAT! Huh? isn't it obvious when the game is over? How is it spoiling it by calling a game that's sealed? The thing I dislike is when someone like a caster might say "and that's GG" (whether or not it's before a player says it). The reason is essentially the same for why I already mentioned; The game being over does not make it a good game. If it's a good game, it will be evident by minute 5, or 18, or 42, not just at the end. They should say "this is a good game" when they think so, and they should say "this is game over", when they think so. It's completely perverted to do anything else
The problem is in my case, Im usually angry when I lose because of dumb mistakes I make (Im terran, when I lose its usually always my fault), so forcing myself to type "gg" helps calm me down before I rage quit.

When people say "totes" when they mean "totally". Hearing that makes me embarassed to be in the room.

Pretty sure hes being sarcastic to the people who are complaining about "I could care less" thing

When someone "asks" you to do something by saying 'why don't you...?'
Idk why, it just makes it seem like instead of asking you, they are asking why you are so dense that you haven't already done this obvious thing for them.

I was at the bus stop and I heard a chick say to her friend "OMG I am SO YOLO right now"

Well, I dunno how often you witness someone willingly feeding but usually theyr just bad and thats not even intentionally feeding and Ive played a great deal of games of dota.. I can only recall once or twice where people were feeding intentionnally but almost every match I see people asking in all chat to report some individual because he or she is bad.. that is ridiculous pretty sure no one reports those people.

When it comes to music, I hate it when people say stuff like "I was born in the wrong generation, I'm tired of shit like Lady Gaga, Lil' Wayne and Taylor Swift. Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin are so much better." And yes, I have heard people say things as inane as that
Yeah, some subcultures and niche genres were thriving a lot more in the mainstream in certain generations; however, music is in the best state it has ever been. Thanks to the internet and streaming services, so many unique genres and bands are getting the exposure that they wouldn't have gotten even just five years ago. Even bands who have been around for decades are just now getting popular. There's something for everyone and it's relatively easy to find what you want (back then, you had to get invested in tape trading and subscribing to zines). People who say "I was born in the wrong generation" now have access to entire databases of music from their favorite decade; allowing them to discover bands that they wouldn't have even heard of if they actually did grow up in that generation. Also, thanks to people discovering hidden gems with the internet, all sorts of genre revival scenes have been popping up all over the place - e.g. occult rock revival.
However, I guess if you wanted to experience the whole package, like wearing colorful neon spandex and tons of hairspray while watching your favorite band live when they were young and at their prime, I guess you have somewhat of an argument.

when someone you don't really know says "whats up"....do they really want to know or should you just say whats up back?????

Seems like this is a thinly veiled "bitch about the world" thread. I really don't see how this can lead to anything positive.
