Obama will win.
Let's be realistic here. As fun as this whole conversion/disscussion is.
Most Americans arn't smart. Hate to say that but we arn't.
One person says- vote for me and I will Give you 'free stuff' One person says- I will do my best to fix the economy and give you the shot at getting a job.
Who wins?
Take the names and ideology away and it comes down to "What's best for me"

Challenge to Conservatives: How do you believe Romney is going to fix the economy?
Humor me. I'm one of those guys that still doesn't understand how Romney's plan balances the budget. If anything, I think he will drive America into a deep recession.
EZ. His plan is incomplete - the normal for a presidential candidate. Once elected he'll iron out the details. He knows how the economy works, he did a fine job in his business career and a fine job as governor. I see no reason why that wouldn't continue as President.
On the other hand Obama has no real plan - just reintroduce bills that have already been voted down.
I'm voting for Gary Johnson. I refuse to vote for Obama because of the war in Afghanistan. Obama has the power to pull us out whenever he chooses, but instead he's throwing away innocent lives to look better for the reelection.
Here are some facts about Gary Johnson:
He wants to pull out of Afghanistan IMMEDIATELY.
He wants to end all corporate subsidies.
He wants to stop the federal reserve from continuing to devalue the US dollar.
He was the governor of New Mexico for 8 years and both balanced the budget while increasing education spending by almost 33%.
He wants to repeal ridiculous regulations like the federal law that states 40% of all corn produced in the US MUST go to ethanol production

I'm poor and broke, but I'm still not going to vote for somebody for "free stuff" I'm going to vote for the person that isn't going to completely destroy our economy so my kids aren't going to have to pay 10$ for a gallon of milk or loaf of bread.
Your the exception to the rule, not the standard. Props to you though for being smart.

Romney has to do better than that. And so does Obama. I don't want a president who just hopes things will get better.
But the critique of Obama is strange. Do you think he has bad ideas or bad execution?

You know what else has a high cost? 15% of people in poverty, over 2,000,000 people in prisons, and 50,000,000 uninsured people draining hospital resources when they can't afford to pay their hospital fees.
But, of course, if government stays out of the way, suddenly our problems will all disappear. I guess it's a possibility if everyone just dies.
