This image made me giggle.
I think it's looking pretty good for Obama. As far as I know the counties that would heavily vote Republican are already done in Florida, so it's going to be right down to the wire, a possible recount, but hopefully a narrow victory for the president.

It's very rare that once a news agency "calls" a state, that it will be reversed. I don't think I've ever seen it happen I recall it happening like 8 years ago... was it Florida? Some stations called a state, and then had to reverse it and it was considered a fairly big deal.

Yay! Time magazine's economics editor on BBC supporting extra stimulus. Long time since I've seen public figures say that.
She calls tax cuts worthless based on historical evidence.
Awesome.

Fox news is providing much better unbiased news than CNN right now. They are way more mellow and just reporting

If you think that, you should bet on Romney winning Ohio! If you are right you can win 20 times your stake in profit! Most bookies however have now stopped taking bets on Obama winning Ohio!

Okay, well Bush vs. Gore...fine. But it's very very rare.

Hi anyone know of a good livestream where i can listen to election coverage(i don't have television). An entertaining host is preferable.. just to tide me over until Stewart/colbert are on at 11/10c.
thanks!

He doesnt need anything else if he wins FL. If he wins FL he is over 270.

IIRC its a sliding scale, the higher the degree the more democrat.

bah c'mon Ohio and Florida, I see one more grey county for each and they're like the two pivotal battleground states lol. Need to put this puppy to sleep, this campaign has been quite tiring.

Santa Rosa is the last one. But I'm not sure it can beat the last 36% of Miami-Dade.

Hmm, I don't know. I think Republicans might distance themselves a little from the tea party, but otherwise they'll be just as bad.
The good news is that if Obama wins, he will be a lot tougher this go around.

Newbie here; how did CNN call NH already... It's supposed to be a battleground state, and they call it with only 24% counted with Obama leading with 54%
Isn't that too close of to call... If this was a state that was supposed to go to Obama, that would be enough to call, but this is a battleground state.

I'm pretty sure there's a pretty strong positive correlation between intelligence and being liberal. Googling "correlation between intelligence and liberal" gave me some interesting stuff.
