I don't get it. They base it on historical data, current polling and exit polling and if they arent even close then they will call it instantly. Then if they are trending one way they might wait to see if the counties are reporting the way they expect (like Penn) and then call it because they know that it is over. Its not like they are hiding any of the numbers they have they just have a better understanding of them and what it means. | ||

I don't get it. Exit polling from local stations that don't actually count the votes but get a good idea of how a county is swinging. | ||

I don't get it. Exit polls and comparing certain counties that already reported or are at 75% compared to 2008. It's really not that complicated to see once you start seeing real numbers. Not like this is the first or second election ever. | ||
