The Ohio senate race has been called for Brown.

Yeah, this shit is over. If Brown wins, there is no way that Obama loses.

Josh Mandel is like a giant man-boy who can't answer a single question without looking like he's about to piss himself. Watching him get questioned on rape terminology was hilarious.

All the candidates in that race were fucking terrible.

I had made up my mind to vote third party, but then I looked up the Libertarian candidate. That guy is a dumbass.

I give Sherrod Brown an Acceptable with Reservations. An election of alternatives unfortunately, which is often the case in Ohio

USA has a lot of sparsely populated areas. Ignore the colors.

Add up the numbers on the colored states, not the states.

This must be near the end for the republican party.
The demographic will only get worse for them in the coming years.
Old conservative people die, and young liberal people are born and immigrate to the country.
Like some commentators said, the republican party realy needs to reinvent themselves.
The teaparty can be blamed, killing the republican party from within.

Excellent. Republicans deserve it for courting the fucking crazies.

Obama should call his bluff, claim a mandate, say that Americans have rejected the Romney and Republican policies of tax cuts, and say that the House vote is only a result of abusive redistricting.

LOL @ people who still think Obama will call any Republican bluffs ever. Did anyone else read that Des Moines Register piece?

Yeah, it was nonsense. It praised Obama for the stimulus yet supported Romney for being able to break the deadlock.

But it's not about ending gridlock if ending gridlock means doing the Republican plan of drastic tax cuts and spending cuts, which will destroy the economy.

Obama should gridlock as much as necessary if the alternative is giving tax cuts to the rich which will massively increase debt, which degrades long run economic growth, and spending cuts which will sink the recovery in the short run.

Also places with lesser population tends to vote Republic and those numbers are in faster. So R always with an early lead.

i believe we'll see a more energized and creative obama this time around. he will be a top 10 president when it's over

Todd Akin got legitimately raped.

I usually hate using "rape" that way but if there was ever a man who deserved it.

To put it simply there are 5 states that are really left in play, Ohio, FL, Vir,NC, and colorado (techincally nevada but they dont even think they will win it). In order to become president Romney needs to win all 5.

I guess stereotypes are true...? Basically lines up with general preconceptions on voting.
