I don't even find it the least bit humorous to suggest this thread or anyone reading it would benefit from listening to Rush Limbaugh or reading his transcript. If he made a point you liked, make it and source it yourself, and be sure it isn't something completely misleading or flat-out false.

In reality you'd either need a very complicated scheme to figure out what counts as an expense related to shipping a job overseas or a simple one that only counts things like moving expenses (which would raise exactly dick for revenue). Either way you are doing exactly zero to stop businesses from offshoring. The Politifact article was misleading in outlining "loopholes" in the US tax code that encouraged jobs to go overseas. Its not the "US loophole" that creates the incentive, its the foreign country offering a lower tax rate that creates the incentive. I have no idea how Obama plans on dealing with that without creating large unintended consequences. In fact, I don't think he sees it as a genuine issue at all. I think he's just trying to get people to say "GRRRR TAXES UNFAIR! GRRRRR!!!" and get more votes that way. Everything has been very smoke and mirrors with this administration, I'm not surprised that this is no exception.

Following that logic, you liberals can never post anything from Jon Stewart, the Huffington Post, CNN, MSNBC, or any other left-wing source.

I'm starting to wonder if it is going to be revealed they are behind that anti-Mohammed video that started all of this Yeah, what is Fox News doing? Didn't they get the memo that they're supposed to ignore lies told by democrat presidents and administrations? Well, now we have a pretty good idea as to why Obama did go out and lie for weeks about what happened. Clearly they fucked up by ordering response teams to stand down rather than quell the attack at the consulate. Now the question is why did the Administration give that order and who did it.

What an excellent, rational, and well-sourced post. This has so much to do with the 2012 presidential election and contributes greatly to this thread. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in a respectful manner, I sincerely hope to read more posts from you in the future.

What you're suggesting is I post a transcript of the Thom Hartmann show. Or should we all listen to Ed Schulz this morning, because that'll really make for something to focus a discussion on? You're not talking about an op-ed piece. I don't remember anyone posting an entire transcript of a Daily Show episode. You're a crazy person. Make your own points, and make them one at a time. Don't hand us a book of right-wing pre-election talking-points from the mouths of one of our country's most notorious liars who, despite having a talk show, has never once debated somebody noteworthy of different politics. Why would you even think to do that? No one has done anything like that once this thread. Be ashamed.

Only see what you want to see, only hear what you want to hear and you end up with a very different perspective on reality. Liberals posting from Jon Stewart, Huffington Post and MSNBC are likely ignorable too, yes. CNN as liberal biased? I have only heard that from people who find FOX being a stupid left-wing biased media too!

They just engage in more of the old-school, editorial liberal bias that CBS/NBC/ABC are guilty of rather than the overt MSNBC brand of liberal bias.

What he is, is the most popular talk show host of all time and has been for decades. Oh really? Is William Shatner not a noteworthy figure?

How about someone who actually has something to say about a matter of interest to your nation...

Editorial bias as in picking and choosing is not something disqualifying it as a source. While dishonest, it does not affect the value of the news, they actually do bring. I was wondering why he did not bring up CBS/NBC/ABC too while he was at it.

It's very easy to groupthink decry Fox news and cluster around MSNBC & CNN like they're pinnacles of responsible journalism. And it's just so so hard to spot! Btw, Biden being Biden. 500 trillion dollar tax cut for the rich! Boo!
