pretty long but i've rarely seen anyone be that internet-owned.

Good stuff, thanks for this!

After reading that chatlog, you can definitely tell that Sabu was fishing for information, Virus was smart enough not to take the bait though. LOLZZ didn't know that Sabu guy was a "script kiddie" just like a lot of the trolls going around these days.

They are all skiddies. Most REAL crackers and hackers are not public. Nor do they reside on public forums.

OH SNAP, just read that whole thing. That is nuts. Sad to see Sabu being so annoying. Hadn't heard of him till today but man he seems petty.

Don't forget that the media glorifies them too. I always find it both amusing and irritating to read the New York Times talk about a DDoS attack that takes down a website for a day as if it were the work of some mysterious group of elite hackers.

Most important parts of the logs imo

Virus: but, I knew LulzSec is a sinking ship and I have a son to worry about

Virus: Anonymous is nothing but a bunch of fat, pimply basement dwelling
losers who masturbate 3+ times a day

Virus: I'm not a kid -- I'm an adult
Virus: and I'm experienced

Virus: I pretty much got what I had to say off my chest, I'm done being
your friend, you're way too shady and I'm too old for this childish
crap. when I "hack" I have a cause
It's easy and perhaps fun when you're a kid, but one day you have to become a grownup and playing around in that shit isn't worth it anymore. The whole scene is rife with egomania.

Anyone who knows anything about actual hacking already accepts anonymous/lulsec/whatever retarded name they give themselves as a bunch of idiotic script kiddies who know absolutely nothing about computers. I think there was actually some kind of swedish group while ago who broke into a government website and basically called anonymous a bunch of retarded children. This doesn't actually change a single thing because noone gives a fuck about them haha.
The only reason they get so much attention is because the media portrays them as some kind of insanely skilled group of hackers everytime they manage to push a button and ddos a famous website/government website. It's pathetic, it's childish, and it gets pretty funny when you actually look at it for what it really is. The media hypes them, and because the general public doesn't know much about hacking, everyone shits there pants.

That chat log was hilarious by the way thanks for the awesome read.

What he says it's true. Script kiddies are everywhere now a days calling themselves "hackers" and it's quite irritating. I won't lie, I grew up using scripts, but that's what gets you caught. All those scripts have so many backdoors that they even know when you take a shit. "Adults" these days that use ION Cannon are more stupid that the kid that picked his boogers in your 12th grade class.

Yes... It's all deep down and hush hush, they live in caves too.

The world's most notorious computer hacker [Hector Xavier Monsegur, AKA Sabu

Nobody outside of LulzSec had any idea who Sabu was. He can't really be called notorious.

Anyway, LulzSec hasn't existed since last year. Everything that has gone on since then has been other groups. It won't make a difference.
