The first time I ever had Jameson's 18 year I absolutely fell in love with it. ![]() I enjoy a good Bourbon too, not a huge Scotch fan though.

This is my favorite and you can get it rather cheap here in Kentucky (around $24-$30) Hancocks Presidential Reserve Really Smooth bourbon ![]() I also like Maker's Mark of course. One of the best liquors for the price period. Woodford Reserve is OK, but I find Hancocks to be much better and it's cheaper.

Lagavulin 16 (favourite) Laphroaig 10 Talisker 10 Glenlivet 12 Glenfiddich 12 Glenfiddich 18 Old Pulteney 12? forget the year Macallan 10 Bunnahabhain 12 (donotwantdog.jpg) Balvenie 12 (see above) Tullamore Dew 40 Creek Confederation Oak (best Canadian whiskey imo) 40 Creek Private Cask Jameson's 18 Limited Reserve Nothing beats sitting around smoking a fine cigar and drinking some terrific scotch/whisky. Plus since we got these as a group the cost goes way down and you can try a lot more variety than you could on your own.

But I think it's more fresh than Laga and not as spicy as Talisker and comes with a little sweet peatyness. Inspired by this thread: ![]() <3 :-) God that's an amazing picture.... I don't know how you fit so many great things into so little space. The mouse and keyboard, the liquor, the chocolate... even to the hidden ipod cord in the background ![]()

Bookers! ![]() Bookers is a single barrel aged bourbon, NOT for the light of heart!!!!! Each bottle, or barrel rather, has a proof slightly different from the next. Proof is between 121 & 127! It's made by jim beam and is on the pricy side, often as much as $75 here in the USA. Enjoy! edit: Oops! Sorry KingOctavious, just saw your Bookers recommendation, glad to see I'm not alone! Damn, that stuff is strong. Bourbon is my favorite.

I guess it depends on the type of Whisky you are drinking. - If you use it as a base for longdrinks, I'd go for Ice cubes. Most longdrinks just taste "wrong" if they are too warm =) - Chilled stones work if you need it cooled, but just storing it in a cool spot (15-20° C, approx ~60-70°F ?) should be fine. Normally you don't have to cool a good whisky, especially as it's harder to taste nuances of flavour for the human tongue of a cold drink. - For high quality whisky (e.g. single malt, good blends etc.) you actually should use a few drops of warm (~20° again) pure water to open up more flavours - never cool those. So yeah, personally I'm using Ice cubes with Jack Daniels or Johnnie Walker when mixing... no Ice at all when drinking Ledaig, Laphroig Macallan or Glenlivet. *cheers!*
