How many of you can say with a straight face that you dont like southpark? heh as such try out this southpark character generator its a chukles worth at the least

I can. I don't like southpark, although some jokes are quite good, i'd never watch it. I dunno why, maybe cos i think this kind of stuff is not good for youths. There is too many 'mean' jokes in it, making fun of homeless ppl is the first one that comes to mind.

I know that makes me sound like a pussy, but i think you gotta see these things in relation to the product's target group. Many 10-12 yr olds also like this, and i don't know if this is the kind of social education i'd like my future kids to get.

Of course, for older ppl, i see little problems, but just the idea that this series is also made for the younger makes me not like it. I had the same thing with postal, and a bit with GTA. At my age (24,yes,im ancient), it's ok, but many kids who play this are 13-15 are seriously think pissing over someone else is 'cool'. And the makers spoiling the younger makes me dislike the product in some way. But anyways, i'll let you get on making funny characters.

there is almost no proof that shows like south park influence children.
it just shocks their parents because they miss the humor of it.

It's not like you go out killing ppl now, but it generally 'roughens up' kids, or how do i explain myself better here...i find that kids of 12 yr old are generally more self-centered, have less respect, less manners and so on. Kids that cycle past you in groups might even throw in a swearword at you just to show their friends how cool they are...back when i was 12 we just didn't do those things, we were scared shitless for a beating. Nowadays kids think that provoking is harmless.

Of course it's not only South Park, it comes at us from all sides, e.g. look at how cartoons are, compared to 10 yrs ago. Now, cartoon figures tend to scream at each other instead of talk. Since they don't die they can say/do anything they want, and also the cartoon have become so flashy and annoying, i think this should cause attention deficit disorder or what it's called.

Our community is steadily hardening, and the stuff kids are fed (media) don't help at that. That's all that bothers me really (about south park, but about a lot of other products as well).

When i was a kid <10 yrs old, i was a baddass. Not joking, me and my friends beat up anybody that even tried to insult us or threaten us. My school was like the jungle, survival of the fittest, when the kids one year older wanted to play, even if they had played before, they did and you could do nothing about it (of course we did that too to the younger kids

). We cussed at each other all the time and we didn't even watch south park because it was at 1 am and no way to watch it

, we watched DBZ mostly and some other mangas (like oliver and benji).

What is the point of this post? i have no idea, i started writing that and somebody interrupted me so i don't know what i was going to write next, but i'll be damned if i spend 10 min writing something and don't end up posting it.

I only watched South Park when I was like 8-9. And I only watched it because all they did was swear and back then, swearing was cool apparently. Now I realize that the jokes aren't funny, and the curses are just thrown in here or there for no reason to try and be funny.
