I'm also happy to see the little kid didn't experience severe head trauma from Casey's slam otherwise Casey and his family would have to deal with a lot more shit from Casey's act of self defense. edit: I wonder if Casey has read Ender's Game. | ||

In case you missed it the bullied kid was alone while the bully had several friends around, if casey had tried to start a fist fight he could have ended up being beaten by several opponents. When there are multiple enemies, you take them down fast and hard, none of this punching and kicking nonsense. | ||

Much better to do it the way he did While i agree that the slam could have been life threatening, from a vs. multiple opponents perspective, it is always recommended to hurt one and hurt that one bad. It discourages the rest and increases survivability greatly. His actions arent completely justified, but in terms of protecting himself, i think he did the right thing. | ||

A victim of bullying has the right to do anything short of drawing a weapon against his bully. If the bully gets crippled for life, well, he will at least not bully anyone ever again. When someone is in your face like that, there is no self-control. There is no you, you simply react on instinct and you react as violently as you can. If the bully get seriously injured or killed, it's his own or the schools fault, never the victims. | ||

Look at this scenario: A few degrees off, the kid breaks his neck. He's in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, because of some 6th grade bullshit. Do you STILL think its acceptable for the fat kid to fight like that? No, not at all, should've just beat him down.
