Note: a number of sources are saying that Beast Master Casey has been suspended for 4 days and that the rat boy was suspended for 21. Look around for more sources please.

Unfortunately Casey will probably have social problems throughout his life, while rat boy will just have a few bruises...life sucks sometimes. Not necessarily. If Casey becomes aware of the overwhelming support he's receiving from people all over the world, I'm pretty damn sure it'll help him a lot. Now he knows there are people out there that not only support him, but think he's a goddamn hero for standing up to himself. He wouldn't just think he has our support - he'd KNOW it. He just needs to look around. And it's not like our messages are hard to find. (By 'our' I mean everyone, not just TL) It'll help.

Hell, by the time the little shit grows up, paralysis is likely to be curable. It is people like you, who are more concerned about the bullies health, than the welfare of the victims, that are the cause of the fucked up state society is in. Your "violence is never a good solution" mantras make me fucking sick. It is no longer safe to go into the CBD of my city at night, because the little shits like ratboy, instead of being forced onto the straight and narrow, whether that be with the cane or with the strap, were coddled and counselled and given fucking holidays when they were tormenting other students. Now we have happy slapping and fucking happy stabbings every fucking weekend. Now we have the so called "elite" wanting to punish parents who use corporal punishment on their children with jail time. Yeah, because the coddling bullshit has worked out so fucking well, has it? Sometimes, violence is the optimal solution. Sometimes, violence is the only solution. How about you fucking pacifists go down to libya and pull a ghandi on gaddafi. What, no takers? Thought so.

First, expressing concern over somewhat drastic threats against a 13-year old boy does not necessarily imply he condones the boy's actions, nor by extension value the bully over the victim. That's like saying I'm a die-hard Communist after criticizing sub-par business standards. Second, correlation doesn't imply causation; just because the CBD became dangerous as parents treated troublemakers more softly doesn't mean that treatment caused the CBD to be unsafe; There are a myriad of other reasons for that. Don't you think that a troublemaker kept in line by violence might resort to the same means in other, non-disciplinary situations, any more so than a troublemaker who's been coddled through his school years? Your example justifying violence involves someone who is violent himself. Do you think violence would ever be inherently justified if no one else was being violent in the first place? Now obviously, ratman was being a little prick and was clearly being violent against Casey. No one, as far as I've seen on this thread, is criticizing Casey for his decision to resort to violence; yes, a few people felt that the move was excessive, and a few vocalized that they felt the situation could have ended better had there been a more peaceful intervention earlier. But I think we all recognize the fact that violence/self-defense was justified at that point. Assume, however, that ratmen was just mouthing off; would violence still be ideal?

However, breaking a neck isn't all bad, it really only matters if the spinal cord is damaged. In my specific case it was treated as any other bone, put a brace on it (hard collar, soft collar or a halo - I had the first & second) and wait (5.5 months for me). After it's healed you can go back to normal as I did. In that video the kid would have suffered head trauma or a concussion long before any long lasting neck injuries would occur.

Just completely flat out ridiculous, this is exactly what took place between the 2 boys 1. Got in Casey's face and grabbed him while threatening him. Casey's Reaction: backed down trying to avoid confrontation. 2. Punched him hard in the face. Again Casey is apologetic doesn't want to fight. 3. Swung hard at Casey's face. More of the same from Casey. 4. Starts dancing and taunting Casey before punching him yet again. Yet again Casey just ignores him, wants to leave. 5. Punches Casey yet again, and appears unwilling to stop anytime soon. Casey finally defends himself and the two grab each other but Casey being bigger gets the upperhand. This kid attacked him FIVE times, and looked like he had no intention of stopping until he hurt him, IMO he got off litely If it was me I would've beat the crap out of him after the slam.

I was never really bullied as a kid, but I can remember once in 7th grade after school when i saw some bully with a nerdy kid in a headlock, I went up pulled his arm off the kid, and when he went for me I used my 7th grade karate knowledge to send the bullies face to the hard ice. The guy got a bloody nose and ran off crying.. Don't fk with mah nerds.
