Edit: Sorry did not mean to bump an old thread for no good reason. I didn't realize it was so old somehow.

I'm glad you bumped it. Now people are gonna be like, "Why is this thread here again?" :D
I'm gonna go with Xerxes. His arrows blotted out the sun ffs. I have tremendous respect for the man. All he required was a simple tribute of earth and water but that bastard Leonidas had to spit in his face. Even the great Leonidas fell to this God-King though Semi-Sarcastic if u can't tell

Hmm... Tough question. I do want to say Alexander the Great, but I am gonna go with Hannibal because of how he revolutionized the roman empire's warmachine. Because think about it, without Hannibal there to smash the utter crap out of some odd 20 legions (+/-) They wouldn't have reformed their army until much later.

I'm going to go with Gaius julius Caesar Maybe not THE best, but pretty damn up there. A political, and military genius. I guess he was one of the first to use psychological warfare

Thats a retarded quote, it's been shown time and time again that fights only lead to more fights, there are far better ways to "fight" for something than actual battle against other fellow human beings.
Just the mention of patriotic feelings amuses me, it's just imaginary lines, we are all born in the same planet.

Kenneth Joel Hotz. The tactical genius who humiliates all who dare oppose him.

It has also been shown numerous times that fights end fights.

Erwin Rommel by far the greatest tactical mind in history. He is the sole reason that germany was the offensive juggernaught in ww2. Countless times defying all the odds and emerging victorious

His tactics rival that of god's intelligence itself
You can say the same for alexander but he never lost, in fact some of those he routed armies 20+x his size, it is easy to get people to defend their country or to attack rivals or neighboring countries but he conquered outside his peoples known world for the most part.
