As we all know people who own cats are HUGE ballers. Yes i know cats don't listen, tear shit up, and lay on your keyboad when you are trying to macro, but who cant forgive God's greatest gift to man! This thread if for showing your cats to other cat people and making dog owners jealous (please no lol cats they are not funny anymore and will probably get you banned if im not mistaken).
This is my tabby named Muxha. Muxha mean fly in ukrainian, we called her this because she likes to climb on people. Muxha is a farm cat and has massacured most of the mice in our area. She also makes sure we know this by artfully flaying the mice and leaving them on our poarch.
my mom took my cat away on the day stork played his last osl final :/ so this day was one of the worst of my life...my Fuzzy was +20 years old, we rescued her off the rough streets of croatia....I still miss her so much....RIP

On the first picture, the commercial guys wanted to use him for a sterilized cat commercial. It was quite funny because at the exact same time we were looking for a female cat to have little kittens and we had to tell people that the stuff written on the poster was all lies ^^

Short story shorter: My room mate wanted a cat, my other room mates and I approved, she had to buy 2 because "they couldn't be separated". In short time they appeared to both have been naughty and get pregnant before they were in our care, and suddenly we had 8 kittens. In this picture; 4 of them: Fluffy (looking upwards), Fugly (dark/light brown/black right above Fluffy), Rakanishu (black one above Fugly, face visible) and Mini Jarppi (sitting).

My mom always says she is a manx, but I honestly think that she is just a mixed-breed. We got her from my grandparent's farm after one of their cats gave birth. Her mother was a wild cat that my grandparents decided to take in and they have no idea what cat impregnated her. She definitely has the calico fur pattern, but I have no idea regarding what breed she might be. Lol that commercial is so funny, knowing that your cat was not at all castrated. My father is a vet so I already saw that add. What were the odds that it is Geiko's cat xD?
Here's my contribution: Elvis (black) and Pablo (orange) Together they are musical cats! Elvis left home for a month and just came back to find I have a 1month old kitty at home. He is so jelly! They don't get along too well because big elvis paws little Nina in the face every time she comes up to smell/greet/meet. I'm working on it :D
Here's my cat: Juno. I was taking her in the car with me when I was moving, and she started 'scenting' (apparently called the 'flehman response'). Yeah, it just looks weird.
Oh man, great pics. I love cats and it was the first pet my family got. Unfortunately, I happen to be allergic to their hair and it really makes me sneeze and get red eyes in a very short amount of time. We had to return the Siamese cat we purchased the day after. Ever since then I've always had dogs, but damn cats look so awesome too.
So, I don't know if anyone else is like this, but our cats have base names, but we (as a family) seem to evolve them over time. For example. There's Susan. We call her Pester Susan sometimes. Other times it's Susan B. Anthony Neenel-Schneenel. The other is Rufus. Sometimes it's Wootie. Other times it's Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla.
Susan.
Rufus. Yes, that is a vampire underbite.
Susan is adorable at a table. She'll use her paws (puffs) to drag items off.
Rufus is borderline retarded. Or maybe just retarded.
Fun story: We got him when he was absurdly young (so young that we had to bottle feed him at first) because his mother and the rest of his litter died in childbirth. I have a female Florida Cracker Cur who basically raised him, so now the cat thinks he is (and behaves like) a dog.
Had to let mine go a few months ago due to kidney failure ;( Miss having a cat around but as we may be moving soon we're waiting before getting a new one.

This cold blooded, bad-ass killer can catch hares. THAT'S RIGHT MUTHAQUACKER! He caught a hare, but not just one hare. He's caught about 5 of the bastards, and those things are seriously quick. He tore the head off one and stored the headless body in my brother's wardrobe. Another time he left a rabbit head under my bed. Needless to say we have never had a rodent problem.
I used to wrestle him when he was a kitten, but he kinda just tears your arm up now. Oh yeah, and he's 15 years old and going strong
Absolute baller, tries to help my starcraft by walking on the keyboard while i play. unfortunately has been getting into fights with some neighbours cats and what not so i need to keep an eye out for him :c
My cat Habbib, had to be put down yesterday due to throat cancer. He died peacefully though, the vet came around to give him the injection to put him asleep and to kill him, but he only needed the sleeping one :D
This thread should be everybodys go-to place when they're feeling a bit down. Seriously I looked through the last two pages an suddenly didn't care that my back hurts like never before and that I haven't eaten in what feels like forever.
There's just too much cuteness in here to be feeling any kind of down
I wish I could contribute my own picture, but I live in a 2-room-60m² appartement and I think having a cat would be cruel to the little fellow. I love cats, however and thus I love this thread.

Well according to this site someone who is allergic to one cat may not be allergic to another cat.
there are a lot of other interesting facts about cats on that site aswell including some regarding allergies (e.g. that you're actually allergic to the cat's saliva )
from personal experience (my dad used to get sick everytime we visited relatives who owned several cats just by being inside the house, but is fine now with our own cat) i can say that, depending on how strong your allergy is, you can get around it if you take certain precautions for example washing your hands after you've touched your cat, not letting her sleep on your pillow (or other areas that usually come close to your eyes) etc.
I wish i had a cat. I have a shih tzu that is kind of cat like. He streches like a cat in the morning and always licks him self clean. He is like a dog lion but I will get a cat sometime
The most gentle creature ever to walk the earth, unless you were a mouse, a cricket, a moth, a spider, a fly etc. We lost him at the age of 18, a few months ago. Seeing all these great photos has me thinking perhaps another cat (or two) should be in our future

That would be mine, wild cat from the mountains in the south of France, took him back to my place when he was still young and about to get devored by bigger beasts during the winter. Needless to say he now eats at fixed hours and sleeps all day <3
