I am torn between a few ideas, and am wondering what you guys think would be the best. It wont solidify my choice but it would be cool to get input. I am probably only going to get one or two of these. (i dont think i would get any of them colored unless it would really look good with it colored on me) 1, Something involving Vivi from FF9, maybe just his hat? dunno about whole body. But i love that little guy and play that game any time i am going through a hard time. Dunno why. 2, a Barcode made from my old student ID. It happens to be a legit barcode for some HD screen, for projectors? I am worth around 600 dollars lol. ID is 1066600 3, Portal cake. Yum. 4, The portal dude running out of the portal, you know what i am talking about! where he is half way out, yeah. I am not a huge portal fanboy but i do love the games, and really enjoy the art and concepts. Companion cube etc. It is just so classy. 5, Something that represents super smash bros 64 (64 version specifically), but cant think of anything, ideas for that would be awesome. Smash 64 is one of my all time top fav games, and i still play it on a daily basis. (play Link and Ness) 6, a SC one, from bw or sc2 doesnt matter... but it would have to be damn good and classy. taking ideas on that one too because well.. i cant think of one that i would want on my skin permanently. Dont even bother suggesting something that isnt just that damn good lol. <3 honestly i am steering away from a sc one, unless i can really think of a good good good one. Simplicity is pretty awesome too. Throwing that out there. | ||

I can't say I'm a fan of tattoos overall (would definitely never do that to my skin anyway) but some of these are pretty cool. At least I can relate to nerd tattoos a bit more than random skulls and tramp stamps ahah. | ||

I also like the triforce one, very cool, OoC was probably one of the most influential games in my life. Unfortunately I'm conflicted on tattoos in general, I personally don't believe in permanently marking or modifying my body, so that means no piercings, tattoos, and if the choice were mine no circumcision. However I respect and admire people willing to get tattoos for things that mean something to them. I had a strong urge to get the characters 忠犬ハチ公, which means "chuuken hachikoo" or "the faithful dog hachiko" Basically Hachikoo was an Akita Inu that was so faithful to its owner that he would come and meet him at the train stop every day. One day the dog's master died, and did not return home on the train, yet he still came to the train station every day at the same time, for the next 9 years, waiting for his owner. I always found consolation in my pets when I felt that people had failed me. A dog has never betrayed his owner, ever, and even writing about this makes me tear up because the bond between a man and his dog goes deeper than the one he shares with a child, or a wife, or a friend, because it is completely unconditional. I feel that the loyalty that dogs have for their owners is nothing short of poetic. Instead of getting the tattoo I decided to just volunteer at an animal shelter and ignore the cats. | ||
