NaDa was the reason why i got into broodwar. i had a ton of his replays and noticed in a few of them he used the alias 'unknown.NaDa' which i thought looked pretty cool.

then there was an up and coming celebrity a few years back. he joined a reality tv show and everyone starting raving about him because of his 'good looks' and his similarity to another local celebrity (they looked alike). i never really agreed but hopped on the bandwagon anyway.

put the two stories together and voila.

unknown. + name of celebrity (sam) = unknown.sam

Mine comes from the Escape Velocity Nova game. There's this awesome race of warrior humans called the Nil'kemoryan, I thought it was too long and only kept kemoryan.

friends called me ant
then later on antz since i was heavy and calling me 'ant' seemed weird
later on friends started going "we're going (x) place? is the antz coming?" or something along those lines, i was always referred to as the 'something' of the group because i was the joker/clown

For a while I used the name BaNe, after that I looked up synonyms. My favorite was Calamity.

After that I went as 1stCalamity.

Once I started getting into serious gaming I dropped the 1stCala and ended up with mity. :D

I used to play WoW. I had this really badass name (too badass to share) but some twat thought it was offensive or whatever so he reported me. I had to change my name. Well, at the time I was a fan-girl-level fan of RHCP, and even though I'm a bassist not a guitarist, I named myself after John Frusciante the guitarist. But the name wouldn't work, so I just rearranged the I and A.

Mine is weird, I was so angry at Bisu and the whole savior slumping that I made the name DragoonPK which mean the player that PK (Player Kills) Dragoon Players aka Tosses. So yeah my name came up because I was so angry at Bisu. But the guy is really awesome, hope he gets back to form :[.

The story of my ID is quite simple, actually. I started my gaming in FPS-games and when I had to use an ID, I used my german studies and took the ID Kopfshot (Kopf = head in german). Yeah yeah, I know, very corny. After a couple of years I contemplated on wtf I was thinking back then and took the shot-part off.
