whats that you say? an import only snes game from 1996? giant robots? awesome!
I was first introduced to this game by a friend in his basement several years ago and today rediscovered the gem that is gundam wing: endless duel.
gameplay is simple, you have four attack buttons that act differently depending on your location (air,ground,crouching,far away from opponent), block by holding the directional pad away from your opponent, and can move,dash,jump,"boost dash/jump" and perform 'specials' and 'supers' as the power gauge allows. each of the 9 available mobile suits plays very differently and despite some MS being 'bad' the game is fairly balanced.

the purpose of this thread can be summed up like this:
1.to make the game's existence know.
2.to make it known that the game can be played online.
3.to make it known that Cube wants to play this game online with other people.
+ Show Spoiler [Instructions for online play] +1.download zsnes version 1.42. 2. download the ROM (this one is patched with english dialogue). 3. hop on the hamachi network i set up for this: name: zsnesnetplay123 pass: 14. open zsnes and under the netplay tab, select the internet (only) option. it should display a screen like this: from here, enter your nickname, then decide who will be the host. the host selects the start as server option while the other person enters the ip address displayed next to the host in hamachi, then selects the join server option. Once you are connected, a chat window will pop up where you can set the latency and other things, from here the host starts the game by selecting load, and then the ROM from the list (if there is no list use the sidebar on the right to find the ROM). important: both players must have loaded the ROM at least once (so the game can find it) and the rom must be named the same for both of you (gundam wing - endless duel.smc is what the one from the link is called)after this select versus mode and start playing  . misc: hit T in game to type and enter to send message. esc pauses the emulator on both sides, to resume, simply hit game --> run or esc again. sometimes the game desyncs, to fix this, reset the game under the game---> reset option (the host must do this). if the problem persists, restart the emulator. to set keys use the config --> input #1 option, then hit set keys. if you are unable to set keys, hit set, then set keys, if the problem persists, restart them emulator and mash the two set buttons until it works.

I remember this game, my fellow elementary students use to play it when the prof wasn't looking. I just knew about it because of the show... and Wing Zero.

omg i used to destroy with shenlong and deathscythe when i was really into this...with a keyboard. if i get into it again ill definitely play this online.

if u add up everyone's stats they're all tied except wing zero and tallgeese, wing zero is better and tallgeese is worse, of course they're distributed differently.

Used to play this a lot with my pals maybe 10 years ago. It's awesome.
My experience with online zsnes has been bad though. Far too much latency to play it as smoothly as local gaming, which has a massive impact on a reaction-based game such as this.

I remember this back in 10 years, and about 5 years ago I loaded this up on a PS2's snes emulator.

they made 2 gundam wing final assualt games on the PS1 they were such good games and my favorite show as a kid

i think mercurious is low tier because none of his attacks do good damage, deathscythe has great corner game and can chain to infinite combo from most hits so he is high tier IMO, sandrock is def low tier. also shenlong is top tier.

Wherever you configure it to be. Personally I use right ctrl and numpad0 for L/R, respectively.

OMG EPIC GAME used to get raped by my brother regularly in this, granted he has 9+ yrs on me so it was a little imba cause i was still trying to get full control of my thumb.
