Usually we discarded the rule about the bandit taking half your cards. It sucked to save up for two roads and a town only for them to go away. If you built the road one length at a time then the town, someone would know where you were going and take it first, which also sucked. I guess Sirlin would say we played a scrubby way. | ||

And I don't think the game actively balances the dice results. Pretty sure the law of large numbers does that on its own. | ||

Anyway, Phan2m is right I've been playing with him and a few other good people and there is clearly a way to win at this game based on knowing the mechanics. | ||
