This game is awesome, a lot of annoying stuffs fixed like instead of numpad1-6 the inventory slots can be used with alt+qwe etc., all the skills are on qwer hotkeys, all stuffs in the shop can be bought with hotkeys. I quitted dota a long time ago but this game brought me back. Oh and its still in beta. Dont expect perfect balance and bugless game.

it's really a lot better than some people make it out to be. It is still a beta so some heroes and items are obviously OP, but the graphics just appear shiny because you are so used to dota, after playing 15-20 games the graphics are just fine.
It has a few really big advantages over dota.
Games are ran on the server, so it doesn't matter if the host has a bad connection.
if you disc, you have 5 minutes to reconnect, which is probably the best thing about it.
the stats system, while flawed (if you lose 4v5 you will get shitty stats etc.) still shows leavers, you can actually create games where only people with a certain leaver % are able to join, which means that most games will be played till the end.
the shop is good as well, just takes a little time to get used to.

I don't know. Probably i just don't like it for it being tooo close to DOTA. It's like a carbon copy with diffrent graphics (which i find "to clean/steril").
The controlls were fine.
The Shop was fine.
It felt fine... But i just don't saw a point in the whole game... It's like someone would copy starcraft and change a few things just to make easy money...

I will check back at the end of the Beta if it feels better then. But right now? Dota is clearly the superior game (and i don't play on a very high level).

How is Dota ''clearly the superior game'' when HoN is pretty much DotA updated for 2009? Can you reconnect when you leave a game in DotA? Is there a matchmaking service for DotA? Stats?
