They are also adding a hero called Maliken next patch, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was broken as hell or something
His posts on the beta forums tend to be level headed and open for debate. He takes errors and bugs pretty seriously, so he may be a dick about things but he seems to take the game to heart.

I haven't been enjoying this game too much. Everything that isn't a hero is extremely bright and small, especially the tooltips. When I scroll over an item and want to see the description, it appears at the bottom right instead of over the item with minute text. When you select a unit or hero other than your own, their profile appears at the bottom right corner and it's difficult to tell their actual HP (there are bars with numbers in them showing the hp/mp of a unit in its profile, yes even your own hero's, that's somewhat difficult to read). Yes you can use tab to show hp/mp bars over units' heads and it's good enough as an estimate in most cases, it really doesn't do it for me.
While I'm sure most of these issues will go away with more game experience, when I don't need to read everything to figure out what's what and can recognize heroes on sight, it really isn't helping my entry into the game.
Though I'm excited about having more maps, modes, and abilities to play around with, HoN just hurts my eyes too much at the moment for me to really appreciate it.

He kicked the entire opposing team off the server when he was losing in Savage 2 a few times when I was playing. Considering there's a "Maliken rules!" emote in Savage 2, the guy definitely has an ego, but he seemed more like a nice guy with anger management issues than a vindictive asshole.

Savage 1 was like Starcraft, except there was the guy on the overhead view building stuff and making units/research, but your SCVs, Marines, Siege Tanks were all controlled by players... you could listen to your commander or tell him to go blow a goat.

I'm playing this atm and it's too shiny.. :/ I gonna try lower the graphics settings and see if its gets better. Overall it's good ofc, I like the new heroes hehe

Natural Selection 2 will probably be released this year. The original NS predated Savage, and it's the same type of game, except indoors and with a sci-fi marines vs aliens theme.

He's pretty much right. The only real improvement is the clan/community management thing. Also whoever posted that everything's too bright and flashy I'd have to agree, but I had the same problem with my first dota matches, so we'll see over time I guess. But at times it does look like a complete clusterfuck.

If they were going to take 95% of the content from Dota, they might have as well taken 100%, because the new heroes that they changed/created are either complete and utter trash or ridiculous entire-team-raping imbalance.
Just goes to show that not everyone has the balancing talent of Icefrog (even though he made some OP heroes, they were quickly nerfed in x.xxB versions)
Also, fuck them for changing the names of EVERYTHING. No useful purpose except to kinda make it different, which is a moot point because it's actually 95% the same, EXCEPT for names.
