Since I don't see it here anywhere else but didn't really look all that hard, but feel people deserve to know about it...

For a real wtf, look at the top of the leaderboard.
I used to run SC2GG, if you remember that. Come to NHFFA discord. It's where a bunch of old players who all suck at BW hang out, as well as people who like to play FFAs for some reason. https://discord.com/invite/kWNQvnd

It was mentioned in the OGN Tetris League thread. (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=96186)

I guess it might deserve its own thread though.

FUCK YEAH TETRIS!

Sorry, I seriously think Tetris is the coolest game ever. Just to see people compete at it makes me a happy e-sports fan. I seem to always miss when its on Korean TV though. I didnt realize that version of tetris had a website and everything, thanks :D :D :D

Using the version on facebook my marathon top score is 700,678 and sprint score is 1:20.09. This is probably my favorite version of tetris to play. I know there are quite a few people on here that prefer blockbox though.

If you do good enough it asks you if you want to go up like 5/10 levels. I'm sitting at rank 14 on sprint 5P right now.

It has predictable starting pieces, once you memorize a few openings you'll be owning most everyone.

Do you also memorize rock/paper/scissors? Or do you memorize "I'll think of a number from 1 to 100..." etc?

This version gives you one of each piece every 7 pieces, just in different order, so it's not completely random. So if you memorize some patterns, you can put down the first 7 pieces perfectly very very fast.

What? That makes no sense and your examples are completely unrelated to what I'm talking about.

I mean, they give you the same pieces (like o, t, z, s, l, j, t, z, or whatever), in that order, so if you memorize what the pieces are in order, you can play much faster...

Not all the openings are like that though, they probably have like twenty different openings, but if maybe you played it you'd see what I'm talking about.

EDIT: Oh, I see, you thought I meant that they have seven pieces so if you memorize the 7 pieces you can win. I meant the order of the pieces.

I definitely like this. The hold is unique that I'm not used to, but now that I have my hard drop, I'm good to rock and roll some noobs.

According to some users on the other site you play replays of other players.

I play it gets recorded, im lvl 5.

You come to play 2 days later (you are lvl 5) and you play my replay file.

Hope it's clear :p

mikeymoo626 is me.
lv 16 5p
lv 16 2p sometimes
lv 20 6p ROFLOL

ydg: I've noticed that, and I hate the sz opening. But you're saying that it's the same order the whole way? That kind of makes me feel less good =[

I don't think it's that big a deal. If you run at 80~100 TPM that's, what, 4 seconds worth of pieces? 2 seconds during your peak TPM?

If only I had a bwchart equivalent to track my TPM over games hahaha.

Noob question: Why is it often reports the wrong stats at the end of a game? A lot of the times I'll clear like 7-8 lines and it seems like I'm winning, and then I'll get 6th place, and the screen at the end will show that I only cleared like 2 lines, when I'm positive I cleared many more. Can other players steal lines from you or something?
