There's just a bunch of nomods around 180-200pp that seem way easier to me than that, like Drop Granat.
I could get 250 with Drop - Granat [Extra] HRHD easier than an SS on that map i think, i've come 1x miss away from ~188pp nomod SS without any kind of strain on cursor or hand speed/accuracy, only on "holy fuck brain why do you hit stuff too early"
Similarly hoshizora no ima S.S SS is worth like 180-something PP and it's extremely easy in comparison. It's like 185bpm and mostly half beat. It's like od7 for gods sake~
i know i'm biased because the AR makes it a pain in the ass for me to aim or even hit basic patterns properly and the bpm on top of that makes it overwhelming, but if it was only worth 210pp i would be shocked. A 98% DT FC on that map is leagues harder than an SS on hoshizora or drop - granat [extra] from my point of view.. and that last 2% accuracy costs like 15% of the PP
Can you SS hoshizora no ima S.S diff? I think you can, like i said it's ~185bpm mostly half beat, od7 but the second half is dense. I could probably do it now with a bit of playing. I feel like you can get a good score there, with hidden and maybe with hard rock (but that would be harder)

I've fced it with hr, and before that i had ss on it. I even had ss on it on my old account, lol. I don't play hidden in general, but i could definitely try to get my acc higher. It's definitely worth it, for it gives 211pp at 97,65% acc.
First priority atm is getting faster. I'd like to be able to be comfortable at ar10.3 and to play streamheavy 250 bpm maps. Not fcing yet, but being able to play is a next midterm goal. Rank will follow, it's not really important. Being comfortable at ar10.3 should give me enough comfortability on ar10, so that i can get better accuracy to play hr structurally. Improving my aim like I did in my last post is my/a first step to getting better at hr.
Cheatreal cs6 is good to play i think, but 7 is insane.
No real map that i know of has cs7 with such aggressive spacing. It's kind of overkill practice, but i think in a bad way because i'd never hold my pen on a cs7 map like i would playing cheatreal on cs7

Hm, i never really change my grip at all. The reason i'm doing that is to force myself to be extremely conscious of every jump. Even at cs6 everything seems to go automatically (although i do miss more, of course), while at cs7 i'll just miss if i don't really pay attention at every jump.
First indication are that it helps (for me). My first try at cs5 was 94%. After i practiced cs7 only twice, my performance on cs 5 went to 97%, which is worth it for me..
1000 dpi, custom osu resolution (As i didn't set this myself, i take it that means my screen resolution is used: 1600x900), raw input. My sensitivity is somewhat higher than it was, but it feels somewhat better.
Btw, i also tried cs7+hr, that was pretty funny. I got like 40% after the intro, lol.
And i just noticed my last post is poorly worded: 'the reason i'm doing that' refers to practicing cs7, not to not changing my grip.
I'm actually curious if you could do these. They were quite hard for me and awesome to hit, but i think i might have been able to do the first one using mouse eventually - the hardest part is moving in time with the beat with such a high bpm (it's like 290 half beat equivelant iirc..) and not moving too quickly or slowly. Then again, there's the possibility that i'd just never be able to move mouse that accurately and quickly, changing directions etc. I never tried something like that before~ Oh, i've got all of those 100's as 300's a bunch of times but i messed up the start a bit with brain numbness and constant repetition, then i was excited/shaky at the end
The second one with so much constant motion i couldn't do with mouse and i'm not sure how much effort it would have taken to get to that level
I honestly think ~0.56-0:58 on that hoshizora vid is the hardest part of the map aim-wise, you can see that i get late hits and can't stay on top of it with my "confident" aiming pace
Does anyone have any good maps that progressively speed up, like disconnected hardkore? I've been having a blast playing the song recently, and would love to play more like it.

The fuck you song got interesting with hr (relax). I even passed it nomod (although only with a C, but still). I think the song is too variable in level for me to do good practice on.
Hoshizora no Ima is barely doable for me. I had a 93% with relax recently, but with some misses at the hard part. However, in my perception it's too short for practice: i feel i practice the map more than jumps or speed in general. Maps like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/102293 (caren ar9 diff) with dt relax imo are better, because the level of the map is constantly high (resulting in like 85% or so, if i remember correctly). I have to be concentrated constantly to even get a normal score, which is my preferred way of practicing: get used to something hard, so that the rest seems easy.
I will try those maps again when i'm practicing, now i'm too tired to play at decent level ):
@swim: I'd guess you already have it, but https://osu.ppy.sh/s/45074 is somewhat similar And there is this one: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/29107, although it not as fast as your map, and it's ar8 (if i recall correctly)

yeah, i wanted to post that one too, but couldn't find it anymore. Besides, the diff's i played were pretty bad. Or maybe it's a different version, it seems to have less diff's than the one i thought of.

But i don't know any more than that.
I like to throw myself at the hardest stuff i can possibly maybe FC with repetition and practice - with and without relaxmod. I was wondering if you could FC these with relax - they're both too fast for my hands+brain to do without relaxmod

Heya Xaffy, didn't see you for a while!
i just tried a few times, and it seems i can't. 98% (fuck you) and 96% (ima) with on average 2 and 6 misses respectively.
