You have the option "get songs" in the main menu which takes you to the osu beatmap database (with a different, easier to navigate menu) and you can just click and DL away.

Only exceptions have been This is the End, and 15 Words, trying for multi-mod FCs. Still rarely got to 10 tries in a row. Not bad for a first try. I should grab some other recent scores. If I ever finish my o2jam to osu!mania converter I'll celebrate with a replay video for the hell of it.

Whenever I watch a replay of myself nowadays I can't follow my own movement.. @ Denzil, the game is pretty hard at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be increasing in skill pretty quickly and be all proud of yourself until you hit a skillwall and want to quit ;D Just play play play and enjoy the music/community

First one when I was starting out, going from the ridiculously easy maps to the harder easy diffs. After I passed that skill wall, I improved quite regularly and quickly to the point of passing hard difficulty maps. At that point I hit another skill wall between hard and insane maps. I passed bot of these relatively easily with a bit of practice on harder maps on nofail. Now however, I'm at another wall. most insanes are doable, except for certain things. I'm working on passing maps like Homework Crisis's Let's Jump diff, Blue Dragon's Airman, and such. This skill wall is far harder for me to break. I practice nofail on maps like Kickass Kung-fu Carnival, etc. And while I may improve from time to time on my scores, it's usually marginal, and if I have a fluke day where I do considerably better, it can take months for me to improve enough to match or beat that score again. And yes, I said months, because I've been at this skill wall for something like 3 months now. It's not about speed, either. I can hit triples well at up to 240 BPM, and on a good day, I can do 210 bpm deathstreams. It appears that you have reached the stage where everything is reflexive, and you are just working on improving your ability to read and respond to faster things. And Yuugo is completely right, in my experience. I find that when playing music games, there are stages in your skill. The first stage is where you are learning how to respond to the input. That is, you are learning how to hit the right key, or how to move your mouse to the right place. The second stage is where you begin to get better at responding, and now you begin to recognize patterns in the input, but are unable to respond to them as a pattern, just as individual actions. The next stage is where you begin to respond less by manually thinking about it and a bit more by reflex. In this stage you are developing the reflexes to respond to patterns, but still haven't perfected either the skill to read the patterns, or the reflex to respond. The next stage is where you solidify your ability to read the patterns. You likely will still not have the reflexes to respond to the patterns by now, but you will be able to read them properly, understanding as conscious thought what the patterns mean, and if you know the song, even understanding what the patterns match up with in a predictive way. The next stage is where your reflexes finally reach the level that you can read. At this point, you are no longer consciously directing each individual action. Your subconscious handles much of the reactionary aspect. At this point your mind can be free enough to think of other things while simultaneously playing with almost no impact on your abilities. I often use my conscious mind to keep track of my accuracy/timing at this point and attempt to correct it if I notice I'm skipping a bit forward or a bit behind. A few things about these progression stages: reaching the final stage doesn't somehow mean you've mastered the game, it just means that reading the notes, and responding, have become second nature, and are reflexive, rather than requiring conscious thought to manually respond; a person's actual skill level upon reaching the final stage can vary wildly; the exact order of these can vary some, because nobody is identical to another person. I just presented these stages in the order that they manifest themselves in me. I've noticed this same progression happen to me in stepmania, o2jam, guitar hero, and osu, so this isn't just something I think happens to me based on one game.
