Yes, if you're putting out a sequel-a-year then allowing user-made custom content might hurt your REVENUE, but that's arguably not a sustainable business model anyway, and its questionable if it hurts your profits. Sure if you make 5 games in 5 years, you sell more copies, but that also means you have to spend the money to develop five games. On the other hand, Blizzard is STILL pushing more copies of Starcraft and Warcraft III, games made 5-10 years ago. They haven't released a complete, new product since 2004.

The massacre mission was... interesting. Really. I've heard that any new patches will remove that mission because it's "too graphic." Hm.

+ Show Spoiler +I hope they don't cause it's very pretty important in the plot. Besides, you can skip that part when the first time you install MW2. there's a message that ask for your permission if it's okay to play some of the offensive scenes.
Pretty gruesome the first time you play it

I didn't think anything bad of the airport scene. It goes together with a plot of something starting a world war just fine.

I don't get people who say the airplane level was gruesome or whatever, I guess I'm just that desensitized or what?
|
Yo anyway, I have a question in the spoiler
+ Show Spoiler +Regarding Shepard's connection with the CIA, so he did want to cover himself up because he is partly connected to why there is WW3.. well besides that he wanted to become a Global Hero..
MW2 also has one of the best plot lines, I've seen for the past couple of years when it comes to gaming.. You'd really feel that your part of the story
Nah, maybe it's just me.. I usually like playing the good guy in video games and it felt really surreal when I first played the Airport scene, well after that once I replayed it again it was pretty fun

This game is the best game ever and online is incredible. AC130 is the best killstreak reward ever.

It is definitely designed for consoles.

In a realistic setting, if Russia invaded the United States, wouldn't it escalate into a nuclear war? I mean... aren't the ultranationalists in the game like the main party in control of how their country runs? So saying Russia, not some radical right-wing party, invaded the U.S. is correct, right?
Ahhh... I am just a bit disorientated over the main plotline. Maybe both countries thought that nuclear weapons was going to be suicide for both of them, so they just stuck to conventional means for killing their enemy.
Anyways, I thought Shepherd's bodyguards was pretty laughable. I guess the thought of having to fight through and kill regular U.S. soldiers was too much for Infinity Ward...but killing civilians is A O.K.

Let's just say there is nothing to exploit anymore if the whole country is a nuclear waste. Shepherd looked like an old brad pitt from inglourious basterds.

Let's not get into the whole, "whos dick is bigger" pc or console thing, please. Play what you prefer and leave the other be.

This is the only multiplayer game where the more I play it, the less I enjoy it. It's complete crap, and I was one of the people who wasn't bothered by the removal of lean, lack of dedicated servers, no modding, etc.
Single player is spectacular though.

single player is way way way too short.
other than that, this game kicks ass. all the kill streak rewards are awesome. I set supply drop to my first streak reward and you end up getting a lot of good ones randomly.
