+ Show Spoiler + The Machariel is usually found fitted with a huge number of Gyros and Tracking enhancers when you search for fits, but below is what I was running with, it is over-tanked for sure, but I liked the warm fuzzy of getting shot at while running down enemy ships (you still have to be careful, but it is a very forgiving when you make mistakes) I just flew it around like a giant frigate, closing up to point blank range and melting BS RATS: [Machariel, Overtanked] Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Tracking Enhancer II Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Invulnerability Field II Invulnerability Field II 100MN Afterburner II X-Large Shield Booster II Cap Recharger II 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L 800mm Repeating Artillery II, EMP L Drone Link Augmentor I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I EHP 57208 (this is on my skills which are not perfect 5s) Cap stable at 43% with everything running (again, not perfect skills) which means you can worry about other things. if you turn off the AB or the XL shield booster evey now and then you can still be cap stable and eith lose the Cap recharger II in the mid and replace it with a web for Frigates/Spider drones that get too close or you can remove a cap relay from the lows and add another tracking enhancer or gyro (depending on skills) I usually swap out one or both Invuls for rat specific hardeners (which are less resource intensive) The drone link is to help run down longer range targets in level fours, especially when you start running down ships at over 525m/s you can sometimes out distance your drones working on other items. Add drone typesof your liking, salt to taste. I build this up with meta stuff initially as my skills were not good enough for some to the tech2 goodies so things like the X-Large C5-L Emergency Shield overload instead of the X-Large Shield Booster II and Beta Reactor Control in place of the Capacitor Power Relay II were done at some point. TLDR- Here is a training Machariel while you get comfy with your new toy. It flies like a giant frigate and the drones can help bail you out if you screw it up. -Mad He did fit all the slots.. | ||

All those stats were without implants, a 75mil clone makes it even better. So, opinions on those fits ? different fits ? No one cares ? Gallente OP ? Discuss. | ||

If getting fights near those kinds of locations is a non issue then by all means the repper doesn't really do anything for you. While Im a big fan of moar tracking, range is probably a better rig all around for this fit, with so little tank I'd imagine some of the tankier frig fits will give you issues. Luckily the more popular of those is a jag, who happens to blow past 5k range. I think the plate ends up being more of a liability as it makes it more vulnerable to being kited or frankly cught by something you dont want to catch you, but if you do plate I really don't like the nano plate. 20-30dps may not sounds like much but can make a world of difference in the low ehp of a frig fight. Especially if you're expecting a blob. | ||
