Just had a SoG guy fuck me about with a 1v1. He was talking about how he could absolutely smash any ship I brought right after I replaced Steve so I was obviously thinking easy, easy kills.
Offered the 1v1 in lowsec, he refused and insisted hisec. I pointed out that he could get help and neutral reps in high while I couldn't because of my -10 friends. He told me his word was his bond....

I met him halfway with the offer of hisec, they flip me in a NPC corp, I'm on a gate so I can jump out. He refused and insisted on open space. I didn't budge and he pussied out. In hisec with me in a NPC corp there are 0 people who could help me and he still wouldn't go for it. Good call given I was 100% gonna win if he honoured but even so, was a pretty obvious attempt to betray it. These are the people who cloak recons up on belt 1 and then spam local for frig 1v1s there for kills so my expectations weren't high.

After reading your report of the carrier fight it reminds me strongly of your battle reports of 'we fought and lost a drake but we killed a FULL T2 BATTLESHIP then we got insurance and loot so we are REALLY WINNING THIS WAR GUYS'. Oh how we've grown.

Hey just wondering... what does Pointed mean? I read this thread just to hear all the jargon that I don't understand at all because the game sounds pretty sweet. Don't have the time to start or I would, but was just wondering what that phrase means.
