I tried the trial and I've been playing for 10 days. I really like the game but the font size is making my eyes hurt. I play on 22" 1680x1050. I've increased the font size in chat which helps a lot, however I don't think it's possible to change the tooltips or anything else for that matter. So being a new player includes A LOT of reading. I've reached to a point where I have the urge to play but then I think about the effort it takes to read I get turned off. Before you tell me to get glasses: My eyesight is good and I don't have any vision problems with any other game besides this. So maybe I missed something or is there something the experienced players would like to recommend? Thanks for reading. | ||

Thanks for reading. one thing that helps is to set the font spacing to wide, in the general tab left column of the esc menu iirc | ||

Did jam him a few times after that, but was mostly focused on jamming the second carrier they cyno'd in. Nevertheless, nothing like an 800 million kill because of Falcon. | ||

Delait was playing around in oddel. They had a mega navy and a phoon docked in s2. Someone went there and got attacked by them when they undocked. He then docked up and both of them warped to s1 while we already had a good fleet up (about 6 bcs and 3 rifters or so). We warped at a safe distance to s1 and started shooting them, but they docked up. Naturally they undocked a minute later and started to play docking games. Then at some point the phoon opened a cyno and they brought in the thanatos. We got lee to undock a falcon and emdar was there in a blackbird. They started jamming the thanatos and got ridiculous cycles. During the fight with them, which already took like 30minutes, several people came online and undocked. Including abom who didnt have a proper instant and thus got scrammed and lost his tempest to the mega/phoon. Body shield got too close and got neuted out, also dieing while being longpointed in his harb. However, the jams were on our side and we finally brought the mega down. The phoon was still cynoing so we started applying dps and meanwhile also started to bump the thanatos. The phoon died but the thanatos was too close inside the station, which prevented from bumping. We got the maelstorm into 50% structure, again with lucky jam cycles on the carrier, but it managed to dock up. Then the thanatos docked and undocked again, not stopping speed which allowed firebolt to get a good bump on him. This started the one hour long bumping fight agains it. We got a few webs on him, but our rifters keep getting killed by the carriers drones and their maelstrom undocks too. During the process the thanatos came from 20km back within 5km docking range. Fortunately we had tofu heroscimitaring and could continue bumping. Tofu also undocked a drake with several webs, so we now had heavy web suppiort instead of lousy rifters only. After about 20 minutes michael comes online and immediately asks meancorp for capital support, which comes in form of a thanatos as well. By now their thanatos is about 20km out, but they brought another thanatos and the maelstorm was still shooting us as well. We did our best to keep the space drones clean and managed not to lose any bcs except for the ones mentioned earlier(i dont count the brawling dominix! :D). The meancorp thanatos gcced himself cause he foolishly tried to remoterep a friendly pirate and now had gateguns killing his fighters as well. After about one hour of constant bumping, he now is in 50% structure and starts selfdestructing. ALL FOR NOTHING? NO WAY!. The last minute is the most tedious one. Lee misses a jam cycle and he reps about 10% armor. Meancorp thanatos pulls his fighters cause hes getting gategunned. Then luanches them again, which results in 30seconds of dps loss. Then finally...carrier blown up. wreck is immediately BLUE. SELFDESTRUCT. ARE U FOR RELA!? I open my combat log. I got the mail. FUCK YEAH. CARRIER DOWN. (according to combatlog it was 6 seconds before selfdestruct timer ran out :D) | ||
