It would help if we had more people suddenly appearing in the thread that are veterans at the game to give their advice to the Hatchery. So far we have had a very good track record of listening to their advice. Albeit the recurring theme is that their advice if horribly outdated.

The problem with your take on it though is that you'll be able to provide logical arguments backing up your claim and not strawman ones. That would defeat the purpose of generating additional posts for me.

Don't know what all the fuss is about. The hatchery has eve pretty much solved - bring ships that are good at fighting bigger odds, require not so high skill point and have a dedicated booster with you too increase your chances. That and a shitton of ecm because getting targeted is way too scary.

We haven't had any real blackbird pilots in some time. 
Most of our gangs are around 6 man, usually 3 bc and 3 rifters vs 10+. I wish I had a shitton of ECM.

I solved a big problem today, or maybe just had a bit of forgotten knowledge bitchslap me. When approaching Arty-Cane to point, get angular velocity BEFORE turning on MWD.
Caldari Frig V MSE Merlin getting 2shot is rather terrifying.

Now see, the problem right there is you are flying a merlin. This is a simple case of correlation not implying causation. You will find that a dramiel has lesser chance of getting 2 shotted.

I would also likely find that if I had been playing long enough to have the skills and Isk to be flying Dramiels, that I would know better than to turn on an MWD before getting Angular at 35km from a Cane.
As it turns out, not many T1 Non-faction Frigs would have survived to the second shot, so it was entirely a case of me doing something dumb and losing a ship, rather than the ship somehow being at fault. Only a fool blames equipment when there's room to blame themselves first.
Acknowledging mistakes is the first step to not repeating them.

That's ok. I'm just mad because a 7man gang decided they needed a falcon again me and thorn today. Getting scramed just isn't fair man
Edit: fuck mittani and his "spacepolitics" without him prom would've shot the person who invented ecm by now.

The new contract window made finding fail contracts a lot more difficult, thanks to the 2 minutes or so between updates. One good thing, is typical contract snipers have not been around as much, so more fail contracts for me \o/
