When you live in Lowsec, the money just comes rolling in..

Thats standard hatchery fit.

Never use battleclinic for fits. Scrapheap-challenge is much better.

Damnit, is this corp still active? Might have to resub and get all my shiny toys blown up.

The TS nanos are only like a few mil tops, going T2 wouldnt hurt the tank much. Still, the only real way to fit a kiting Zealot is with nanos and an LSE. [2] [1] He's using RF ammo with Pulse Lasers. You decide. [2] 2 Nanos, 2 Heat Sinks, 2 Tracking Enhancers, Anti-EM Shield rig + whatever other rig you like - that seems like a pretty sick fit to me. Its sort of limited, unfortunately, by the fact that the zealot has no drones (and its expensive), and that a single MAR won't tank that much of a beating. How does it compare to a standard 220 vaga in terms of damage output at long-point range?
Anyways, Adolf Ehrnrooth used a pretty sexy cheapo variation using the nOmen:
Pseudoelectron Containment Field I Heat Sink II Tracking Enhancer II Tracking Enhancer II Tracking Enhancer II
Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive Warp Disruptor II Small Capacitor Booster II
Focused Medium Pulse Laser II,Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II,Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II,Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II,Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II,Scorch M
Medium Auxiliary Thrusters I Medium Polycarbon Engine Housing I Medium Polycarbon Engine Housing I
Adjust meta level of the DCU as necessary. And yes, that's 3 TEs and almost 100% honor tank. With good piloting it absolutely rips apart frigs at a ~20 km killzone.

Much cheaper ways to kill frigs, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

So, I just came back from studyiing all day and was bored, saw two rifters holding on a station in bos so i just randomly half-fitted a cheap armor rupture.
Open fire on them, pop the first one in 2 seconds, go for the second one, webbed and scrammed, 180s shooting him, lol hes not even moving gonna be the easiest shit ever.
not taking damage... not taking damage... not taking damage...
after 2 min of shooting at him and not getting a single shot in (he was web+ scram, not moving, and i was not moving, and im using 180s, what more do you fucking want)...I die to gateguns cause the rifter was just standing there pointing me.
I fucking love this game.

td? btw even without him using it youll have difficulty hitting him. this is nothing new.
edit: nvm the NOT MOVING part just sank in.

0 transversal and not hitting? You're not close enough =_=

Both the Zealot and the Nomen have 7 lowslots though. That fit has only 5 for some reason?
Aside from that, you can get a very good tank on a Nomen while still fitting 3 heat sinks and dealing a massive pile of damage. It's a pretty great ship, much better than the Phantasm actually.

Unless you missed something super important, that sounds to me like some pretty wild desync issues.

No TD point blank range web scram 180s not moving rifter not moving me
If this cant hit a frigate, I really dont know how shooting a rifter is possible
edit : yeah i believe it was a desync or something

I'm talking vanilla Omen, not the ONI, which has different sort of awesome.
Also, pretty sure its CPU-tight to have FMP + 3 damage mods + decent tank on the omen, IIRC. That's why I think this honor tank setup is so brilliant (that and the "lol-omen" factor).

Oh. Well I read

I guess that was a typo. The T1 Omen doesn't really work, but the Nomen can fit a very sturdy tank while still dealing massive hurt with FMPLs. Yeah, it's a really tight fit, but that's part of what lets you know you're doing it right.
Edit: And by 'doesn't really work' I mean 'is pretty LOL in a real fight'

The fit is very similar in mentality to a vagabond (the tank is crap, the damage at long-point range is what makes it work).

What's happening? I get off for a couple of days and the 1b kills a day stops?
Are we dying?
