Dead silence If you picked 5 or 6 at all, you are a douche bag. In reality, the responses I got were 5, 6, 6, 6, 6. It was 6 to 1. There was at least 1 additional Drake in system with me. Even 2 PvE Drakes should be fine against a phoon. Instead, I died.
To be fair how certain are you the other 4 were not just afk at station doing other things like watching streams , TV or just any general form of AFK.

I don't know 100% of the circumstances, but from what I gather you should've checked before hand if people were ready to engage before rushing in then shouting for backup. I generally ask for X up in fleet if you're not afk, join my fleet in finder, and get on TS before ever going for an engagement that I'm not 100% sure I can take solo.
edit: Talking in fleet and ready for engagement are different things.

I just lost my ship. Not sure what I did wrong. Maybe I'm confused but doesn't a invulnerability hardener make you invincible for the duration they are active?
I had my invulnerability field fitted. I warped to the mission. I take aggro, and I'm taking heavy damage. I'm at 50% shields so I turn on my invulnerability field. This is were I have problems because the module is broke or I'm doing it wrong. I continue to take major damage as if the invulnerability field isn't working. Shouldn't it stop all of the damage I'm taking and make me invincible for short amounts of time?

I didn't really have time to get a fleet going. And one guy (Adelith or something?) was asking about a scout anyways. And I didn't rush in. I told people a couple minutes before that I was going to go scout. I got some acknowledgements from that. Right as I jumped my shuttle into emol, dude landed on gate and jumped. I hit warp to station on my Drake, but I was not up to speed (aligned but not moving plegh) and got tackled. My plan wasn't to engage, it was to get through and dock, and have some support if absolutely necessary (hint: it was), but the asshats just sat there. They didn't say "no, not coming" or jack shit. Nothing. Isn't that the sort of thing people are fined or killed for (TBOY) if they do on an op?

It adds 25% resistences. It does not make you invincible.

The phoon pilot was me, and it went slightly different, but there wasen't much you could do as soon as you warped to the gate with the Drake.
Next time, align to the gate when your shuttle jumps through. If it's clear, keep the shuttle there as you warp the drake to make sure the other side is clear, and if people start landing, poop your pants and warp to a celestial near the front of your ship.
Also phoons have slow locking times and even slower speed, so if you had a MWD fitted you could have aligned and burned out. Or even just warped out. I didn't have a sebo fitted.

The hell are you talking about Phoons are slow?
They are the fastest battleships in the game bar the machariel. Granted they are armor tanked so a bit slower but don't imply that the Typhoon is a brick...because it's not. Their lock time isn't really any slower than any other BS so they are always going to be able to lock and scram a drake before it's able to warp out and as long as the drake is in Neut range the drake won't be outrunning shit.
Then again I don't know if you carry neuts or not on your phoon...If not then yes things can get away from you.

No neuts, quad plated, trimarked. It turns so slow it's pathetic. When it's fit like that it's a brick. The cane jumped in first, then bumped tofu, tofu agressed, I jumped in and pointed, cane warped out (lol), MWD bump with a lot of mass due to drake not moving, drake down. No scram or web, I got long point, ECCM, MWD, Cap booster.
