Btw: How much does a Maller cost? I rerolled Amarr and like it much more than Minmatar right now, my current plan is: Get basic Learnings to 4. Get Cruisers very fast to 3 (Frigates IV should be done tomorrow... Then 3 x Cruisers...). Get a Maller (fit with small Turrets or a mix of Small/Medium to kill Frigates). Do Missions for money (and equip a *cheap* frigate for PvP - again and again, in case "someone" agros some big ship again and some "clueless newb" is to slow to warp out :p). Getting all the other skills I skipped. Profit! | ||

it always looked so cool to me and the idea that i could set my shit to do something while i'm afk for a week seemed like it was up my alley as far as these sorta games go i just cant pay for it | ||

.. Well.. Ok? :pI just have this bad memorys of WoW were i was poor from lvl 1 to lvl 70... Never had an epic mount (bought my *normal* epic mount 1 weak before TBC ^^ and never got a flying Epic)... I just farmed money for Potions/Flasks/Enchants and that was it, never bothered to log on to just *farm* Gold/Quest if not for an immediate necessary improvement to my char (and being a bit faster from a to b wasn't a necessary improvement and never will be in my book). What gives so much money later? Are lvl 2/3 Missions such moneymakers? | ||

Why don't you just buy gametimecards (or at least check if they are avalaible to you). I just order my gametime at a gamestore (www.wog.ch). It gets delivered with a bill (takes 1-2 days and I pay it like any other *normal* bill (telephone and so on). You really don't need a credit card, paypall or anything like that. | ||

After reading the whole Metagaming in EVE thread and motbob's awesome post on why you should play EVE I decided to get back into MMORPGs after being off of WOW for about 1.5 years. Probably going to roll a Minmatar and focus on getting a PVP fitted Rifter then do some pirating and what not. I'd like to join the teamliquid corp because from what I understand the people here are mostly new to eve too and ofcourse they share my passion for starcraft. While this is a pretty wierd first post, I personally never imagined myself posting on TL.net anyway since I normally only read forums and never post on them. But TL is something different. Due to the zero tolerance it has for trolling the community here is a unique forum that amazes me greatly. In these 3 years since I've known about it's existance I've visted TL more than 2500 times and I has never disappointed. In short, TL has impacted my life greatly and I'd like to learn from and share my EVE experiances with fellow Liquidians. P.S.: To put this in lurker terms, I just ambushed some unsuspecting marines :> | ||
