War opened with us having already got about 20 contacts on our watchlist and we immediately got a fleet up and ran locators. As we probed down a missioning dominix an enemy condor autopiloted past losing both ship and pod. That's 2-0. The domi got shot up a bit but docked and refused to leave despite only being camped by me in a drake. Some more came online including a drake. We ran locators, narrowed it down and chased it through four systems until it got caught on a gate. One man tackled it and it had to jump whereupon it was pointed, triple webbed and destroyed 15k from the ingate. 55m ship and some nice loot. 3-0 Our autopiloting guy returned in another cheap frigate and got himself killed and podded again for 5-0 right outside his cloning station. So he reappeared, undocked and boom. 6-0 They did some negotiation trying to get us to ease up on them and wondering why we wardecced them. Unfortunately we weren't entirely sure of that. You see one of them perhaps did something to annoy VoV about a week ago when revo wasn't letting us wardec people. So now we're allowed to I went through the names of potential targets and found them. And I knew VoV had asked me to wardec someone. So I did. Turns out VoV wanted me to wardec someone else and the one guy who might have done something to us promptly left their alliance the moment we declared. Given we had absolutely no rational reason for being in a war with them we did what any rational people would, lied. We sent them mails demanding to know why they declared war on us and what we'd done to them. In the diplomacy (read extortion) we demanded reparations for their hostility and whenever they pointed out we started it we refused to argue it and just kept reiterating that they started it. I made an industry alt. I am currently at a cross roads. I wanted to train mining barge to 5 in the first 1.6mil. I tried to shave as much SP as i could to accomplish this. Currently i'll achieve this with 3k SP to spare. The issue is that i'll only have 14 perc and 13 willpower with which to train the skill. Not too bad but I have 20 mem/int in comparison and at 100% skill training each attribute is worth 2x...so its like 40/40 compared to 28/26. Ill need astrogeology 5 for Exhumers anyway...so I was thinking I could do a few things. Either training mining barge to 5 anyway like my original plan but with less efficiency Use a remap to max perc/will to soften the blow and just remap again later Just train int/mem skills to make the most out of the 100% training time. Mining Barge is x4, Astro is an x3 | ||

A character farm is a good way to become self sufficient, it's like Datacore farming except it requires a tad more work. | ||
