However, I was wondering if EVE Online has a black market like other MMO's out there such as WoW, Rift, Runescape, etc where gold (isks) is bought and sold for real money. Is it possible to trade isks for nothing to another player? If not I'd imagine black markets wouldn't be a problem unless there are loopholes in the system. For example Runescape used to have a limit to how much one player could trade to another without anything in return. Does EVE have a similar system?

No such system but RMTing is legal if you do it through CCP.

The opposite is true. You can not however sell isk for real money.

I will definitely be trying this game - love the idea of paying for game time with in game currency.

You're not allowed to sell isk for real money. Doesn't mean it's not possible. There's a reason why some big alliances sometimes have "special" things they offer people IRL.

I could certainly never imagine one of the fine members of TL ever doing anything of any questionable morality.

In these dark times, I longed for the CNR, which I assumed would be the day when I'd be able to scrape up the money to PLEX my account consistently and have to stop paying for my first account. My total assets were in the low hundred millions. I was looking for something a little more exciting and substantial. While watching some SC2 tournament I came upon the EVE Corporation thread. I figured, "hey, why not" and applied through the in game channels. A few short months later, I am still a terrible, terrible pilot who loses shit stupidly HOWEVER I now have like 50billion isk 6 accounts (and growing) and more shit than I even know what to do with. THANK YOU HATCHERY. When I started with the Hatchery, I was but a lonely and terrible MMO player still on a trial account, having barely finished the beginner tutorials and unable to find out how to do the advanced tutorials, running level 1 security missions for opportunities to mine in deadspace pockets in hisec. In these dark times, I longed for a Machariel, which I asumed would be the day that I would be able to scrape up the money to PLEX my account consistently and not have to rely on paying for my first account. My total asset value was in the millions, and when I joined and started a new trial account, I was worried about how I would transfer my few million isk net value to my new trial account. I was looking for something a little more interesting and involving. While searching for some information about DUST 514 on TL, I came upon the EVE Corporation thread, and figured "hey, why not?" and applied through the in game channels. About 6 months later, I am still a terrible, terrible pilot who loses shit stupidly (as my exploits in PvP have shown, not to mention my 3 Machariel losses), I have somewhere around a 20 billion isk net worth, 4 accounts, but I still want a lot more. THANK YOU HATCHERY!

If the same individuals/corps are involved, it may by now be a reasonable endeavor - the people trying to organize the hoarde of unwashed random pilots of the Minmatar Militia were at heart decent guys, and they tried really hard. Of course, they may have realized eventually that FW is a shadow game which affects nothing and whose rewards are essentially a vague feeling of discontent. Or so it was. It was a times fun. I don't know if the new LP and ISK rewards are really going to do a whole lot except pull in a great deal more solo pilots searching for quick money. So on top of the normal "herding cats" problems, there will be "herding ruggedly individualistic and uninterested in your petty war profiteering cats" problems. That said, I think it might be a good time to think about building up a supply of Navy Scorpions for fun and games by abusing the LP store.

So the list which alliances have AAA set to blue/red, or is it AAAs standings toward those alliances? http://www.eveskunk.com/standings.php#AgainstALLAuthorities blue = blue red = red Dno how AAA does it but usually you do +10 for brosefs and +5 for shitty random renters and stuff. Their list has some fun stuff in it tho, like personal standings and e.g. a Gallente FW alliance. =D Edit: Blue is obv mutual, red/orange is just random shit anyway.

I have an orca pilot for 8.5b if you need one ![]() Abominaire I assumed 1t/isk plex cost/2*$35usd More than likely though, 1t/plex isk cost or 500m*$15usd The thing most people dont like to say is that 34k usd is worth 1 trillion isk, but 1 trillion isk is worth a hell of a lot less(technically $0.legally) I did 1t isk / Median Plex Price (~500mil) * PLEX Cost for the most popular PLEX Pricing (2 for $35, Rounded down to $17 per PLEX) Which comes to $2000 * 17, or 34,000. I could get more accurate but I figured ballpark would do it

There's actually an incredible amount of short term loss reselling on the bazaar. People buy toons and then resell them under a week later at less than they paid for them. It's really very strange.
