The New Bropacts and OTEC During the Venal campaign, Ev0ke approached us about a tech deal; after we had made good on the agreement, NCdot approached us as well. Having taken so many moons so rapidly that GЅОL was beginning to thrash about worryingly, foam at the mouth, and mis-time the same moon twice in a row, we decided to declare victory and go home to VFK. Perhaps amusingly, NCdot’s pets have loudly declared that they were /also/ victorious; perhaps it’s a scenario where everyone wins! Everyone winning is the goal of OTEC, our new diplomatic initiative. OTEC – the Organization of Technetium Exporting Corporations – is here to regulate galactic technetium supply and ensure stable pricing so everyone in the market can benefit. Just like with the real world’s OPEC, ‘Everyone’ in this case means ‘us’ and ‘benefit’ means ‘ahahaha fuck you scrubs’. Doctrine: Tengufleet We’re going to unveil a reimbursable Tengufleet doctrine in the next two months. Ѕtart training Caldari Strategic Cruiѕer and T2 Heavy Missiles if you’d like to fly one of these beasts; it’s essentially the same crap we fight against every night, a Drakefleet but with Tengus. Ѕimple. The difference between ‘our Tengufleet’ and every other Tengufleet floating around is that we can put 200 of the damn things on the field at once – and will lose every single one of them. Tengufleet will be deployed in support of an existing Alphafleet‚ or used to leverage numerіcal superiority in off-timezones. It is not a replacement for Alphafleet. BBQ has his killboard hand ready I assume. | ||

"The ship must have been lost during a fleet fight or during a convoy to the fight. These payouts are determined when the fit is deemed fleet worthy, and they rarely update the pricing. After inflation, you lose about what you paid in insurance for whatever ship for whatever you decide to fly. You also have to go through the pain in the ass of getting another one to wherever, but Goons are actually really good at keeping their main market stations supplied. | ||

there's wartime reimbursement which is basically what mysticus wrote and maybe even a bit more generous, also covering fitting in some cases then there's peacetime reimbursement, which has much looser standards but barely covers hull cost in most cases peacetime reimbursement is also not always in effect (ie, during war) | ||

So I jump back into system and he says he's got some rats chained for me on top belt (does he really think I'm this stupid?) I jump in, he locks me immediately and the fight commences. I x up in fleet chat, firetail and myrm land. At this point I'm so low on neut I'm surprised I held point long enough for the firetail to grab it. Regardless, I'm dropping pretty fast, but the cane is down to about 75% armor and he figures it's time to dip. As I'm dropping to 80ish % structure I manage to make it away from him (he was aligned to sun I was aligned opposite his direction and managed to make it out even though my transversal was something akin to 0) spam warp = me getting out in 50% structure. Well krole is raining pain on him and the firetail is dodging guns in spite of double web and double neut (firetails are fast c/d?) due to double TD and his nos is keeping them running. Too bad his nos can't keep point and both TDs running at the same time >.> que utter frustration as Krole runs into an asteroid, drops to 0m/s and the cane is able to warp off as I'm landing back on the field. TL;DR: Krole sucks, I suck, firetail pilot sucks. Cane made it out in 10% armor. Noob lyfe. Edit: Cane convos me shortly afterwards saying he likes my style and wants to be my friend. Hopefully I can find a way to kill him under this guise of friendship >.> I want that kill :< | ||
