Honestly I'm intrigued by Sudden Attack. I want to actually see if english commentary can make an FPS worth watching.
I'll probably skip the warcraft 3 stuff but sudden attack could be cool.

grubby is from the netherlands right? it's a shame he didn't get invited instead of this sushilicious character. i can't imagine that he would turn down the invite.

thats Sudden Attack.

oh, wow, Moon is miles ahead of those guys, I don't think one of them is the best in their country, too bad
edit - actually, now that I think about it, this really bothers me, surely there was some reason these players were chosen, was there a poorly publicized qualifier? Were the top 5 in each of those countries all on vacation and couldn't go? I mean, they even got ToD to commentate, what's that going to be like? "oh, Moon rolls over another noob in a seven minute game, this is super exciting!"
Some of the players I kind of recognize, obviously HasuObs is pretty good, WuLVeRaTe was ok a couple of years ago, Sushi is probably like top 5 in the Netherlands, I actually think I know the Austrian guy from Starcraft so, maybe he plays both or something...

Myth from wcreplays.com From what Rotterdam said yesterday, basically they picked some national tournaments (for example in the Netherlands there's the NK Gaming) where you can win like a mousepad or something, fun for the amateurs but the pro's won't attend it, but they still carry the title of 'best of nation' tournaments. These were played months ago and now they reveal that they used the results of these as basis for who to pick from each nation. Pretty big joke tbh and i don't see how they can build any credibility for their tournament on this.

No Grubby? That's lame. Grubby defeated Moon in the WCG'08 grand final.

So far Sudden Attack is boring but I don't know how to watch any FPS game. I think TF2 maybe could be fun to watch but no one plays that on TV that I know of.
|
lol... the commentator is talking to himself again... and eating something strange.... *hmph* guess no one can be tastless
is there an official IRC or somthing?

yeah, seriously, throw ToD in there, at least he has a chance

ToD is the greatest caster I've ever heard. I love his accent.
|
At least they replaced HasuObs with Lyn otherwise this would've been a Moon vs Random newbs exhibition.

It is a so poor tournament. I think Lyn is going to win 2:1(or 3:2) vs Moon in the grand final. Except HausObs I never saw one of these foreign players. In NE there are so much better players than SushiLicious; Grubby, Rotterdam. In Austria there a better players too; Firestrike Even in Denmark..
