Yeah the talent trees look similar, but I've only played high enough on one class (Inquisitor) to take a look at them. But items are a lot more like KOTOR than WoW. And crafting, questing, and companion-based play are all drastically different from WoW. Items + Talent Trees are not the whole picture. | ||

BUT if your tank is bad you just need to tell them when to use their cooldowns, if your healer is bad you are out of luck. So a question to those who pre-ordered from origin. How long does it take to receive the code to redeem your pre-order? I pre-ordered only yesterday because I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to play this game or not, but now that I did, I want that early access and need to know if I'm doing it right or not. | ||

There should be a game code in the confirmation email you got when you preordered. It sort of looks like a Blizzard CD-Key. You need to redeem it with Origin so that it ties the purchase to your account. | ||

Kind of worried about the combat though, it looks alot like Warhammer online, high TTK(time to kill), lots of aoe and dot abilities and small amounts of CC. People are just standing still spamming abilities on eachother and very slowly dropping in health. It doesnt look very exciting or skillbased at all. How do you identify a good player or good team when the TTK is to high and CC so low? How does greater numbers kill lesser if the above is true? Any beta player who played alot of PvP please shed some light on this concern of mine. Also please talk about 8v8 and how it works.. wet dream if its really competitive like DAoC. | ||
