You're not missing much. The download is so long.

24.4 MB initial, then a 1.6 GB download, then another 14 GB. Then a install then another 10-12 GB download.

Is there some way to get those 24.4MB right now with the site being down?

Any word on you guys rewording your IGN Prime key give aways to better state its a Weekend invite rather than Closed Beta? As in the SWTOR community so far that has ment two VERY different terms

sites back up, and i got the beta invite email, but theres no where to start dling the client or does it say on the site that i have been selected

I would be all for giving out the initial install but there is no way I can tell who really has the invite and who doesnt, and Im pretty sure it would be against TL.net rules/regulations for me too

Thats because you were probably selected for next weekends invite.

If you were selected for this weekends (11/11/11) the invite would have a Start time and End time in the e-mail as compared to the block of text in white for the next weekends invite.

Also a little more on next weekends invite from the IGN email: apparently its 4 days

When the beta test commences, Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) will begin inviting groups of players every 24 hours until they've invited everyone into the beta. My launcher wont open now ?

C:\Programs Files\Electroc Arts\Bioware\ Star wars - the old republic\lib.dll is either not designed
to run on windows or it contains an error. try installing the program again.......

I can load up my launcher and log in but the "Play" button is grayed out. Can anyone help me out?

Everytime i load the launcher and log in at the bottom it shows an error message and it goes away extremely quickly.

They have send a ton of invites and letting people in slowly, if you can't get in just wait a few minutes and restart launcher.

So I just got an e-mail for an invite I guess it's for the next weekend as mentioned above right? Is there a possibility to download the game before that? Because I'd imagine it's a pretty big file and a head start would be pretty neat.

So played the beta for about an hour in a half. I can already tell when this game comes out I am going to play this a lot. I am playing on the dark side sith warrior because I don't want to have to redo the jedi quests (going to be a jedi obviously :D). Super fun for me personally.

This game comes out 5 days after I start my month break for christmas vacation lol perfect timing honestly and can't wait to spend a lot of it on swtor :D
