You don't gank with QoP at the expense of letting Mag farm his dagger fast. If the other lanes weren't having their way with neph he would have ganked more, however, continuing to pressure the mag, as well as furthering his own farm was more beneficial to his teams gameplan than ganking would have been. It's not really the players style that determines this, but rather the situation, DotA is a very dynamic game, no build is ever the best for all situations.

Chinese always say it's the int heroes job to buy chicken and wards, I guess because they can farm the easiest or something and gold matters least to them? Likewise, in pub games where obviously not everyone is fighting for the right to buy wards, shouldn the hero who's having the easiest time early game buy them? Is there a common rule to this or no? Hmm because you solo'd mid with QoP, you defintely cannot afford to buy a chicken. If there was another Int on your team they should have bought chicken. If not, then you got to ask why is an Int soloing mid. An Int hero is all about early and mid game, and will not carry your team. QoP is good mid, but you should have another Int on your team aswell to help the gangs early/mid. Perhaps you did? Did you mean a non item oriented hero? Because in my opinion, all Lina needs is boots and a bottle, and she rapes early and mid game in gangs.

Also if you are going to gank you must realize one thing. It must be worth to gank. There are several requirements that must be met before you run off. First of all are you going to do it successfully? Second must be that the one you are ganking is owning his lane. Meaning that if the one you are going to kill is already being heavily dominated in his lane it's better to just remain the status quo and keep farming in your own lane. Those are just my opinions and I'm not into the pro scene a whole lot

Its not a bad idea if you have strong side lanes, because you can then rotate from either top or bot and manage the runes. Plus she has a tendency to be hard to gank especially with the standard storm bolt based stuns. She doesn't have bad carry capabilities, so I don't see your point here.

Even a hero like Fiend is perfect to buy wards with half way the game. Just because he farms ridiculously easy. Also if you are going to gank you must realize one thing. It must be worth to gank. Those are just my opinions and I'm not into the pro scene a whole lot SF is better filling in the support-carry role, not ward bitch unless your supports are just getting absolutely raped, he needs a good amount of items too for survivability in team fights and to transition late game. Like BB hit it on the spot with Pugna/THD those will always be your primary ward bitches, because THD has good stat growth and is entirely spell based for effectiveness (don't even bring up the autofire bullshit) and Pugna is similar just more fragile.

I never said that Fiend has to get it over Pugna/THD. I just mean that even a damage dealer hero can sometimes get wards. With fiend I farm so fast it doesn't really hurt to buy 6 wards

P.s.: I watched that MYM vs VP. rep today + Show Spoiler + WoW, VP totally fuckraped MYM (even tho their LU was weaker than usual). Vigoss was nuts with Lina. Is dagon the new trend on Lion / Lina? Didn't really see it being used in high-level games, only recently. Quite funny, as I kept on playing tons of Lion / Lina with dagon in my very newb, very beginner DotA days. Hehe. Justified at last!

Also: ![]() http://www.dota-allstars.com/replay/34868/index.html People were complaining that they'd never heard of anyone in my replays, so here's Hitomi. He's the puck - IndigoChildren. We solo each other in middle Kop vs Puck, it was pretty decent. Be sure to watch what he does when the ES ganks, pimpest plays material.
