QOP changed in .52: blink cooltime to 6 seconds from 5, but with longer range; scream of pain manacost fixed at 120(?) at all levels (not starting out at like 15 at skill level 1), ult cooltime fixed at 135 sec instead of down to 70 or whatever imba shit it was before. Note that aghanim's scepter will reduce ult cooltime to 60 sec or something imba like that for QOP.

wow you guys have to watch xcn vs sk game #2, crazy ganking all over. Imo the main reason why the losing team lost is because of bad item choices on their carries.

b_unnies, not sure what to say. There might be a replay or two on the official website, by a pro. You really won't learn anything special from watching it. Just be more conservative and time your last hits well, and work well with your teammates. Item build order doesn't matter that much if you haven't gotten the basic mechanics down pat.

TL dota uses the same tired old build orders with the same old senseless movement and nonexistent map control. Watching that will give you information on who you can pwn for a quick 200 gold, but that's about it. But you can see a lot of battle fury juggernauts if that's what gets you on.

So there has been a lot less ganking and more farming in 6.52 games. One of the big reasons I think is because of the buffing of power treads so less people get bot. I even see qops getting treads now which I just cringe at. Do you guys think this is a good direction dota is moving towards? I enjoy dota most when both teams are ganking actively, the style like vp used to play in mym-8 is best style to watch. Nowadays the ganking gods of the past like potm/qop all get treads and everyone farms until late game. I think more should be done in the next versions to encourage ganking.

Dagger nerf helps ganking. You can always blink in and start fighting, but now you can't blink out of trouble.

I don't think bot means more ganking. Treads means less time to fighting strength, which means it's more likely that people are going ganking earlier.

wcg china, two top teams goog vs cant yesterday. I'm standing behind goog listening to their discussion while they pick and ban but the stadium was too loud so I could only hear so much. Anyway their picks were

ES

TS PUGNA

NAGA Dark Seer

Weird right, they looked like nice dudes so I asked them while the other team was making their last pick why they picked es first. They tell me their lineup revolves around es so he had to be first and that this was a lineup they had been practicing for awhile. It ended up being

Sent top ZEUS+LOA vs NAGA+PUGNA

Middle QOP vs DS

Bot WL+SPE vs ES+TS

obv I was like this is gonna be hard rape and it pretty much turned out expected. They were going for fast push but failed miserably. wl ult + zeus ult + qop ult + spec ult raped them. However dark seer seemed like a pretty good dude to fast push with, hook guys in, es stun, when near tower use wall for added confusion. However they should've banned or picked zeus/qop/wl for sure and not given it to the other team. It was an interesting game to watch and makes me wonder would that lineup work if they banned better and switched naga for someone else.
