I'll have to mess around with the new stuff some more, game is simple enough to compete without too much craziness for now but that's going to change in the near future I think. I do like that you can combo into throws, and that you can combo out of pretty much every throw in the game. Given the way the ground tech system works in BB, it would have been kinda unfair to have it like GG where only some characters could combo off their throws and the rest got decent oki (except like Sol whose throw wasn't even a knockdown on a bunch of the cast lolol). I had a basic writeup in mind but I had to scrap/revise it since there's a lot of stuff I didn't catch on day 1, so maybe after Thanksgiving I'll have a better post about the game.

There's no universal set of tips we can give you that applies to any fighting game whether it be 2D or 3D or 2.5D unless it's "don't suck" or "don't mash". It depends on what game(s) you play and what characters you intend to main in those games. Give us some more information like your characters/game and how you play them (at the arcade, on your console, on your keyboard (lol)) then maybe we can help you. More TRF footage, more Taokaka ripping shit up including herself: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5368698 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5368890 Damn, that is a lot of Taokaka. Videos not recommended for those allergic to cats or seeing Noel brutalised repeatedly (me). There's also some Arcade UFO casuals between PozerWolf and Hsien at http://www.youtube.com/user/IkarugaDC . If you don't know these guys, they're MCMcEmcee's main Texas competition at GG along with a couple of other players, so ya, they're good at fighting games. Hopefully we get some 3MC matches in the near future imo Will post more later, going out

It's a lot less "The game is over in 2 combos". Unless you use Ragna Install, like MC did in a couple of those videos. That could probably do like 80% if you connected the super in addition to the combo. One thing that's slightly different about BlazBlue is that combos scale down in the same manner, except when they reach a certain point they do 0 damage. So infinites are completely impossible. Also you cannot kill someone after you use an offensive burst to break their guard. If someone is on 1 life and you burst to break their guard and then do a 30 hit combo they won't die, they'll just go to 0 life and until they tech, they're effectively invincible. It's BlazBlue's method of preventing free wins from bursts. I like the new burst, it doesn't give you 100% heat either --;
