i've only played with normal controller until now but i think such a stick could take it to another level.. at least they use it in the vids and therefore it must be good ![]()

Since you're not from the US I'm going to assume you don't play marvel and don't want an american bat stick =p Unless other posters happen to know a good deal, it'd probably be best to look up information on shoryuken or dustloop for specifics.

There aren't really many other good out-of-the-box, commercially available options. I guess you could possibly get a good Saulabi (Korean) stick though I hear those come with not-so-great buttons... kinda like HRAPs lol.

Other than that, an arcade about an hour away from my place got their hands on SF4. I'm still trying to decide who to play (leaning towards Ryu since he seems familiar). When I was looking around on youtube, I came across these: In a few of the videos, there's a player named かきゅん playing, who I presume to be the same as Kaqn, the HOS player from GGXXAC. It's the same arcade, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. He plays a pretty wide range of characters, although I've only looked at his Ryu games. He looks like he has really good game sense although he's a /\C player, and his hit confirm reflexes are top notch (but I dunno how good you have to be to SADC ultra on reflex :\). Dunno if this has been going around, but Inoue (Makoto/Ken from SF3/Kuroda's team) goes against Daigo in this one. If you've been looking on SRK, Ino has released some great articles on SF3 you should check out if you read moonspeak.

I honestly don't think you should use stand dusts at all ;o but if you do, you might as well learn the impossible for Venom, since it gives you a knockdown, and near the corner you get loop into knockdown. Don't always need to FRC Stinger Aim in pressure if you know your ball setups during pressure. Proper setups give lots of hit-confirms into loop -> knockdown for no tension. Crank guardbar into high/low/throw into loop is a pretty strong plan for when you get them in the corner, just need to know your ball formations after knockdown really.

i'm not that technically gifted i fear so i prolly won't mod it (at least not without the help of someone competent) but it should still be adequate for my needs gonna use it for GG:AC btw

dunno which stick is the best for guilty gear, maybe you can tell me on top of that i don't even know what else i need and if i find it all in that shop i can get a HRAP2 on ebay for like 160 euros (~250$) ... dunno if it's really worth it for such a price - how much costs a custom?

I saw my friend modding my buttons for me. They don't call them "quick disconnects" for nothing ^^. Basically, all he needed was a screwdriver and a pair of pliers: 1. Unscrew the screws to open the stick up and lift out the faceplate on top. 2. Use pliers to yank the quick disconnects out of the old buttons. 3. Un-snap(?) the old buttons. 4. Snap-in the new buttons. 5. Insert the quick disconnects into the new buttons and secure them by using the pliers to squeeze the metal parts together. 6. Screw everything back together. Just make sure you buy the right buttons (the snap-in kind with the correct diameter). E.g. the Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons.

Pliers help for opening up the stick in the first place, though. Just no reason to ever use them once you've actually opened the stick. Also screw-ins work, though you might have issues if you use Seimitsu screw-ins (you'd have to file a bit off of the mounting ring for the X button). Otherwise they work just fine.
