Which reminded me of this post on SRK: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?p=4148982#post4148982 Basically these two brothers ("the Legends") of Indian descent are being racist towards another Indian guy they saw at a tournament because he is not as white as the two brothers are. And they get their mom (who went with them to the tournament) to join-in on the shit-talk. The whole topic is epic, actually. They try to organize a tournament but they start off with the dumbest rules. Then they start shitting on everyone in the topic, i.e. the very people they're trying to attract to their tournament. It's awesome. To quote them: My fist will be in your ass before it even hits my face. | ||

Besides AH, I'm also entering 3s. I hope to break my previous tournament record of 0 wins!  I haven't decided whether to tier whore with Chun, or play Makoto who is more fun to use (and a lot less frustrating since there are no hit-confirms to miss). | ||

Not good enough with other characters in 3s to justify trying with them. At least with ken I can corner someone and take my obligatory 3 free throws from ken's corner game no matter who I get matched up against  If you play at the same level with both, go for makoto. People fear her, especially in tournaments :> | ||

Recently my Makoto has gotten a lot better since I've learned to be more patient, to space people better, and to utilize her backdash. So at least my Chun Li doesn't completely overshadow her like it used to. Hmm... from a playing-to-win standpoint, I still think I'll go with Makoto because I have a feeling if I use Chun Li, I'll get too nervous and end up missing all of my hit-confirms with her. I've tried using Ken in tournaments before and never got ANY super cancels or links to work, mainly for this reason. Chun Li's are a lot easier, but still, I have a bad feeling about it. | ||
