Tokido 2. Uryo 3. Mizoteru 4. Momochi I didn't see any of the winner's bracket material, as they ran loser's straight through after winner's was over I think. Tokido and Momochi killed a lot of the Sagats out of the tournament, as they were both in loser's bracket early. s.HK loops for days lol. | ||

I thought you can safe jump every char in every fighting game [where there is no air normal landing recovery] if you time it properly late. Sorry I don't play SF4. Maybe raging demon has invincible startup and grabs them when they land? | ||

Maybe raging demon has invincible startup and grabs them when they land? it does. only a few short frames which y sometimes u c moves stick out that whiff and sometimes u c moves that beat it clean. as for the same jumping i didnt even know that. gotta start playing again lol overall i always thought akuma was 2nd best. hes only got like one bad matchup (imo ryu. a lot of people here say honda is a bad matchup but im not so sure) and u have some ridiculously good matchups in your favor (abel, zangief, viper to name a few) and the bets character to use vs sagat. | ||

that and the combination of that the center of the character is actually closer to the ground than the graphic would indicate so they kind of teleport to ground state and allows them to block when they empty jump edit: this is also why its possible to do the gimmick i thought of, where vs. gief if they are antiairing correctly they time the lariat as late as possible but if you don't do an attack and you jump from an angle where he actually doesn't have to time it late from far away its possible to land and then tigerupper/ultra through the lariat... the way it works it even lets you see if he starts moving or not. shit only works once but hey once can get you a round at a tournament. not that there are any american zangiefs that know how to fight sagat in the first place. akuma and ryu are not safe jumpable because their dp is faster than the other ones on the game (including ken's, who is supposed to have the FIRE shoryuken) for pretty much no reason. gief and abel are not safejumpable when they have meter because they can do their ex throw with invincibility. its a bad idea to safe jump gief when he doesn't have meter anyway though. sagat on the other hand is safejumpable, just like the rest of the cast not being able to safejump fucks aggressive play in the ass extremely hard edit: also yes super raging demon gets beat by safejumpins, ultra raging demon will catch safe jumps | ||
