Yes.
I'm a bit out of practice though, but I guess its a good time to start prepping for T6. We can play some games :3

not like there's anywhere else to play DR online, as it flat out doesn't work like 99% of the time on xlink kai for PSP =p
sadly 360 never got DR so can't play dat Tekken with you guys, maybe when we all get BR... ;o
Also I feel that T6's playstyles are different than T5DR due to b! system and new juggles. I remember struggling a bit when I first touched it since I kept playing it like DR :/
For the record, I'd just like to say that MvC2 is crack.
We played it for at least 4 hours straight yesterday morning, all 3 of us having never played it before. We learned Sent deals huge damage from just random hits, and Commando assist > all.

wow haha I think I would love it if I had any chance to play it it seems that it has much more strategy than an average fighter game
edit: can anyone explain me how you can tag? I only know that you can do snapback attack(QCF+assist) which forces the opponent to tag.. Also, please someone explain to me how the PP mashing defense works. (I read the shoryuken.com wiki about the game, but it was confusing)
More strategic? I doubt that. To us, it was just really, really fast-paced and mobile.
Stuff we learned about tagging and assists: - You have two assist buttons, one for each assist. Press either button = assist comes out. - Press LP+LK = tag-in first assist. - Press HP+HK = tag-in second assist. - You can call assists one at a time only, and calling assist #2 after assist #1 doesn't happen any faster than calling assist #1 twice in a row. - I don't know when exactly you can call an assist, but I did read that you can't call assists during blockstun. - If you get hit (not blocked) while your assist is coming out, then your assist does nothing. - If your assist gets hit while coming out, then it does nothing. - To DHC, during your point char's super, you input the super motion you want for your first assist.
I assume the one-at-a-time rule is the reason why teams don't need more than 1 good godlike assist character.

Thanks What I read on SRK wiki was "you can call an assist anytime if you can do regular attacks"
What is DHC? This was the abbreviation what was never explained.
Also: I just presume because I never played that there can be a point of having two entirely different assists like one godlike anti-air and a corner lockdown assist or something.
Hmmm for some reason I could never call assists in mid-air, unless it was right after I jumped. o_O
DHC = Delayed Hyper Combo: your point char does a super, then you interrupt his super with your next assist's super. E.g. when MSP teams want to safely switch from Mag to Storm, they do one of Mag's supers first, then DHC into Storm's hailstorm. It costs 2 supers, though.
Personally, I found it was useless to have more than one godlike assist. The reason being, your point char dies REALLY FAST. Like, if Mag eats a few random hits / 2-hit combos from Sent, then 75% of his life is gone. So you NEED to have two godlike point characters.
Btw, here's the scrub guide to beating your scrub friends at Marvel: 1. Pick Santhrax (Storm/Sent/CapCom). 2. Run away with Storm, going "caw! caw! *airdash* caw! caw! caw!". 3. Every time you land, call CapCom assist. 4. Random hailstorms (don't forget to mash!). 5. Tag-in Sent when you're almost dead. (Your opponent's a scrub like you so who cares if Sent eats a free combo. ) 6. If they're far, spam normals. If they're close, spam CapCom assists while blocking. 7. Random laser -> rocket punch -> drone super.
And if CapCom ever ends up on point, wait for them to get close and do assist special xx captain sword super (214P 236PP).
This guide is 100% sincere: I won almost every game where I did this, probably because my friends wouldn't pick CapCom for their assist. But after a while it got boring going "caw! caw! caw!" all the time, so I replaced Storm with Mag and instead did random Mag rushdown / cross-ups + spam CapCom assists.
DHC = delayed hyper cancel if you're using a super (say storm's lightning storm) you can DHC into a super by your first assist character by inputting the motion for one of his/her supers (for example, dhc into sent's ground super)
