My microSD card kinda got flung halfway across the room while I was playing advance wars I think. Had to use tweezers to take the spring out and it took about half an hour to take it out. It was a pain in the ass. Anyhow, if your spring isn't broken, once you have it in the in position, just pull the microSD card out rather than clicking the spring.
Haha, yeah . . . I wish I had known that before the spring broke in my R4 Revolution; now I have to use tape to hold the MicroSD in place (I do not feel like spending another $40+ just to not use tape - will get a new one come income tax refund).
So I can take the spring out? How hard was it and any guide / pics on how to do it?
There's a rough guide with a few pics on youtube.
Unfortunately, it's the best one out there =/
It's a good idea to have some tweezers or something while you do it. I took mine out from my dissection kit XD (all those hours I spent in a biology lab is finally useful for something -.-). I tried to take the black piece of plastic out with just a screwdriver but I just ended up cracking that damn piece of plastic. I found that it was easier prying the black piece of plastic out through where you insert the microSD rather than through that little gap on that metal jacket. Took me about 45 min or so to take out the spring. A bit of a pain in the ass, but at least your R4 won't look as ghetto and the game won't crash your tape gets loose.

It depends on which games you like to play. If you enjoy classic console titles like sports, fighting and racing games and want to play them away from your TV set, pick up a PSP. However, when you want a different gaming experience from your, say PS2 or similar, consider a DS. It's unique features like dual screens, touch capability and the microphone are often used to create gameplay features you won't find on your home console or PSP. Also, while the PSP has superior graphics they seem to cut on battery life, which is excellent especially with the DSlight. Both systems are fun, I consider looking through their software lineup and then deciding on which games appeal to you the most.
OP:
Advance Wars DS - I consider it the best strategy game for the DS. Once you get hooked this cartridge may not leave your DS slot until 50 hours of playtime.
Bomberman DS - Only if your local friends own a DS, too. Singleplayer is boring, though.
Final Fantasy III - If you like old-school RPGs with random encounters, turn-based battles and lot's of grinding, don't consider twice.
Mario Kart DS - Must have. After playing Mario Kart you can't imagine a better multiplayer game for the DS.
Metroid Prime: Hunters - The only game I haven't played through. If you're used to play shooters with a keyboard and mouse, really try this game before you buy it. If aiming with the stylus is compelling to you, well, this is a good adventure shooter.
New Super Mario Bros. - It's Mario. On the DS. It's good. You know you need to pick it up. No need to tell you.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - Excellent adventure with beautiful use of every DS feature, nice cutscenes, good gameplay.

I have a DS, but no PSP.
I choose the DS over the PSP mainly due to battery life. PSP is useless to me for long trips. There aren't many games for the PSP as well. Fun is relative, but I prefer playing DS games. DS has a huge selection of unique games while PSP games are "meh, been there, done that" variety. The touchscreen, dual screen, & microphone adds a lot to the experience.
