you should have gotten the +mana item and a codex can you still do that? i thought in hon the crow has no mana so +250 mana from like soul stone wont give it any along with it has 0 int no stats so to regenerate the mana u need to go back to fountain but u can get 2 shots off at lvl 4 codex
and yes the soul stone still gives him 250 mana in hon

I'll just note here that the APM counter gets extremely confused when you're controlling more than one unit. If you're moving a lot of units in the same control group for example it seems to record every unit moving as a separate command. At least sometimes it does this, I've had 400 apm with ophelia and I sure as fuck don't have 400 apm.

instead of idling ophelia cept for ult... you should make use of your 400 apm developed from playing starcraft and stack the hard jungle and ancient camps with your creeps too.
maybe have ophelia herself constantly run around the map warding/counterwarding too.

I don't know how many people read the HON forums but having just started playing, these EM vs NM threads are a LOT like the BGH vs Low Money threads. I played DOTA NM for years, and I've been playing 100% EM in HON for fun and because a lot of my friends play EM. Having come from a BGH background, become pretty good @ low money, and then continuing to play BGH this is pretty funny to see (point being there are some good NM players who do play EM, a description I would say is pretty accurate for me). Certainly I'm not "competitive" level but I would definitely say I'm above average, simply choosing to play EM most of the time for fun.
Anyways, there's a guy on the forums named "Glorify." He is like a mirror-forum-image of Fayth.
I don't really have a point, I guess, just that a lot of the HON forums are complete ass and the moderators seem fairly useless.
Oh and I can't wait for the next patch. #1, at least in my games, Chronos is fucking gay. I imagine he's not TOO hard to counter if you have a COORDINATED, GOOD team, but in the EM games I play it's too fucking hard to deal with him, since ganking him 8 times early game but being unable to push the base with his ult + some other defensive ult like behe or magmus or tempest or whatever is almost impossible, so in EM he can still come back from a horrible early game. I think he's probably still imbalanced in NM, as they buffed him too much. I don't like the current "metagame" where you just pick turtlers and a carry and then you farm for 40 minutes. It seems like the S2 carries are too useful all game, instead of being shitty as hell until they get their items like chronos in DOTA. Being able to jack 30 agility, X armor, have allies move in your ult, make your jump do damage AND slow, seems to be too many buffs. #2, pollywog priest is fucking gay as hell and he looks a lot better with the new model. Also, lasers.
p.s. Please keep EM/NM elitism out of any response, I play EM because I like it, I can play NM too. It's not as enjoyable for me. It'd probably be more fun if I had a team of people to play with in NM, but since all my friends play EM, I prefer EM.
As to why I don't try to play with TL people, honestly, while you joke about the "rage" etc, it's very very annoying to read and to listen to nerds rage on VOIP, so I'd rather just avoid that.

i warp gate rush and kill off one opponent now its 2v1, while my partner dicks around with stalkers.
i expand build a small force etc, he fucking mass stalkers and blinks into the terran army alone, he loses his army .... then double expands....... , terran doom drops him, i try to save, and lose most of my forces, he dies. terran turtles thors i can't win gg.

EM is retarded and horrible because it is extremely imbalanced, that's why it can't be competitive.
why glorify and others shit all over EM players, is simply because they go to strategy threads and give their invalid opinions and defend them like they are gods gift.
EM takes less skill to last hit etc, you are less punished for tower diving, heroes are imbalanced ( even more so) etc etc etc
EM can be great fun, and if that's what you want to play go ahead, but don't expect balance, or anyone to take you seriously as a player in any competitive scenario.

You're responding to something I already acknowledged in what I said at first, and something I already know. As I said, I play EM for fun. It's just annoying to see a bunch of players I know I'm better than being elitist dicks. It's like when I see D+ players (as a B or higher player) being an idiot to BGH players (i.e. me, since I certainly came from BGH, and still do play it with friends).
EM and NM is really just a way for NM players to be elitist dicks. S2 needs to separate NM and EM stats so that players can play EM for fun and still maintain their NM % for when they want to play NM so they don't have to swap accounts like I currently have to when I want to play NM solo without having to host.

I don't like splitting them, because while you might play both and be above average in NM, if some 90% 200 game EMer thats up over 1700 psr from all EM games joins a NM game, hes gonna get wrecked hardcore by most 1700+ (more specifically 1800+) players that join the game. Its just way to different for most players to handle. You can call NM players elitist dicks, but we have every right to say so when noob EM players go and try to spread strategies based off of EM play, where the game is not balanced around, and no one in competitive play even plays it. So consider yourself an exception, but over 90% of all EM players are just terrible, and really only play well in EM games where you can go 0-10 and still have farm/equal level.

I don't like EM simply because I'm not good at it. I rely heavily on having a good early game to earn an advantage over my opponent. In EM, there is no early game and I fail miserably.
