Sandwraith took me 6 (!!!) games, and I'm not even sure why I was doing poorly with him. I'd like to blame pub "babysitters" but if I can't dominate a pub with SW, no matter how bad my teammates are, I gotta be doing something wrong. Anywho... ophelia's next up. Any tips? I watched a Chu ophelia replay and he goes courier, wards, flying courier, plated greaves, puzzlebox, astroblade. Seems reasonable. Any Chen/Ophelia that doesn't get Aghanims/Staff of the Master is absolutely TERRIBLE. 30 motherfucking ultimate cooldown. If that doesn't scream GET THIS ITEM NOW I don't know what does.
After staff ophelia has a lot of good options, you really have to try to fill a role your team doesn't have. I usually end up at a toss-up between nomes or sheepstick. Puzzlebox might be alright but I dunno, depends if the other team is actively try to kill your creeps.

puzzlebox is an awesome item. everyone should get it, on every hero, every game.

So Ophelia took one game. Guess I was dreading it for no reason. 6-0-7 with two raxes down in 30 minutes. Thanks for the tips though :D

Just got my first annihilation in HoN after about 300 games of trying, it felt warm and fuzzy. Though I was Soulstealer and it was midgame so I guess that's what I should be doing so it kind of dampens the achievement a little bit. Anyway, this will usher in a whole new era of HoN domination, no more of that quad kill -cocktease business for me no sirree!

Lol I got Annihilation in one of the first 10 games of hon I played. It was a moon queen in an easy mode game. I was mid vs puppet master who sucked and went off ganging so I just farmed the dota items in like 30 minutes then went and raped the entire team. I didn't feel like it was an accomplishment because it was EM but heck I had to actually read descriptions for all items and such and I got to hear the sound!

You should also remember that getting positive kdr with support chars might be a bit hard with more skilled players around.

I think I've had a total of four annihilations. Twice with Arachna, once with Andromeda and I believe once with Slither. Pretty hard but it feels damn good. :DDD

In more skilled games support heroes that go headhunting because they worry about their kdr is usually what loses the game.

Part of the condition for "passing" a hero is winning the game. But go ahead and make me feel guilty for not dying enough with my support heroes.
