Kinda funny that a team would want Testie. He is basically the Destiny of HoN right now, super popular but basically non factor in the pro world.

They both stream for long periods of time instead of doing serious practice but Testie's skill level is probably relatively higher. He's played on a highly rated pro team for quite a while and held his own. I don't think people hate him becuase he's bad due to spending so long streaming, I think that its because he's only okay due to streaming so much and could be absolutely amazing if he did more normal practice.
That being said I quite enjoy him streaming basically non-stop, it's entertaining to watch for a while.

i would love to play with some (mannered) tl guys because all the bm bullshit made me quit HoN alltogether

Testie is easily up there in terms of skill when you talk about HoN. I think if you're talking relativity and such here Testie has a higher skill level.
I just think he's too passive a player for the current metagame. The guy can farm like nobody else but I see it often enough where he farms when he shouldn't necessarily do so. He also prefers to play with friends over other 1900+ MMR people which is great for fun but it isn't enough if you want to be a factor in the pro scene.
Not that I hold that against testie...he can play with whomever the fuck he wants after all. I just really want a team to come up that can you know...actually beat MSI. I thought the new SK had the best chance at that and they actually did take a game off of MSI like two weeks ago but that's about it. Need another challenger for MSI.

If you watch testie's stream you can see that he has the ability to compete with the best; he really is a talented player. Admittedly he rices way to much, and has copped a lot of shit for this playstyle (read: fogged). If he can get into a team where all egos are set aside and the focus is winning HoN, they will be successful; however putting aside egos in the HoN NA scene is pretty much impossible.
The biggest problem with Testie's playstyle is that a good team > super awesome gosu solo; the reason MSi is so dominant at the moment is a combination of individual talent and incredible teamwork and communication. Until a team can pull together that bond and teamwork they will continue to dominate

I just played a long game with thunder bringer and we eventually lost, partly because we had no carry, also it was basically 3v4 the whole game. I got spell shards maxed then went for staff of the master, but i was wondering if it would have been better to go for refresher. they had several squishy heroes (vindi, glac, emerald) and i think i could have turned team fights around with the double ulti, but im not sure which does more damage. Also how do you win a game where you have no real carry (me+plague+underfarmed elec)? We kept mostly even in kills by ganking more and winning some team fights, but we could never decisively genocide and take a rax/kongor.

While refresher double ult will do much more damage it has 2 major problems, 1) it doesn't add any survivial 2) using it will literally take your entire mana pool unless u have another mana supplementation item
honestly, in such a situation with no real carry, u just have to push or bait a decisive fight at kongor or u can ward and camp their jungle and try to catch 1-2 guys before pushing a base tower or kongoring safely

winning with a team with no carries=Push towers down fast slam them down early game get a significant gold lead and keep it with good warding and ganks. And if you cant end it early on LOTS OF SHEEPSTICKS. Im only a 1650 pub hero but Im fairly certain thats how you do it.

10 win streak in solo mmr ended by one of those games. We have a guy who randoms chronos, kinda annoying but not the end of the world, a guy who then randoms Pesti, then another random of Balphagore. At this point I'm hoping for a remake but the final guy seals it by being lowest mmr of 1600 and picking Dr Repulsor and calling mid. Dr feeds 4 kills mid to an engineer somehow and ragequits. Long lane feeds 3 kills between them as apparently Pesti and Chronos are friends and *have* to lane together even against common sense. I get my teams only kill as Glacius running Me+Balph bot as they were stupid and were way out of position.
It's sad to have your team sitting in the fountain waiting to cc after 10minutes. I guess some games just aren't winnable.

Ditch both staff/refresher and get sheep .Honestly sheepstick will disable one of the enemies long enough for you to hopefully get a free kill. Well worth its extreme gold cost. Certainly over staff/refresher. This is just my opinion on your team set up though.
You have to push towers extremely fast. The underfarmed electrician should have been farmed. Give electricing something along the lines of null/mock/spellshards etc and he will literally burn through most pub games. People dont enjoy the 100magic damage per second.
Try and bait the enemies big time early in the game. If it is a 3v4, there should be a dual lane for them. Go and pick on their dual lane over and over and over, make them underleveled as that is where Thunderbringer/plague shine.

This game is the most frustrating in the world.
Take for example one of my games today. I was CD and I failed...badly. I could have done much better. I ended up being like 1-5-6 out of the 38 some odd deaths on my team. How did it get to that point?
This fucking failure of taking responsibility for themselves. Devo in mid ended up going something like 4-12-xx because he constantly kept getting ganked from the side lanes. He blamed this on the lanes not calling MIA. I hate this shit. Not only were MIA's called but the game gives you a nice tool called the MINIMAP that one should look at ALL the time. Don't see a color? it's MIA. So now Devo won't gank side lanes because of everyone else's "Failure" to call MIA. Hes now effectively useless.
Game continues in this ridiculous vane and in the end I get called a feeder (with the lowest deaths on the team mind you) and we lose. Now I'm not blaming this on my teammates, shit that they were... I certainly could have carried it myself if I wasn't so annoyed at what else was going on.
The hell is it with people that don't take responsibilities for their complete failures? It couldn't possibly be THEIR fault they just fucked up. Sometimes I have to forcibly remind myself that humans can't possibly be like this on a normal basis... How does anyone get better at something if they don't realize the things they screwed up?
Damn this game sometimes.
