LoL has better graphics than HoN? You must be trolling me. That or turn your graphics up in options.

How is gameplay relatively the same as well? LoL doesn't have denying, tells you range on every move, has no creep blocking, no tp's, theres so many differences.

They are both top-down single unit control battle arena type games with towers and lanes and creeps and kills duh

Are we playing the same game? I find that lol has such awful animations and graphics that i can barely stand to play it. But ye I find i enjoy HoN way more than LoL. If you don't mind all the rage that can ensue from being a new player than you should love HoN aswell. Just one thing to remember is that in LoL i find that last hitting is easier, the attack animations are all basically the same *note im not 100percent sure of this but feels that way*, When you start playing hon make sure that you realize this.
Another piece of advice is play a huge amount of non-stat games before jumping into a game. But ye, apart from that come and enjoy

Anyone else sick of pubs first picking Flux on your team, readying up and instantly building stupid semi carry items and completely failing. I played 3 games with him, and all 3 of them our flux went like 0/9/3. I don't even know how it is possible.

I have experienced that aswell. Nobody in my games have figured out this hero yet. Without some awesome aoe nukes in team flux doesnt shine at all and seems like a waste of spot in team.

Flux is a Tanky Initiator as it says on Prodex, everyone wants to play carry with him though,

HoN is currently under a DDOS attacks and have today moved to the actual game servers

yes, login servers and forums are down as well as matchmaking
people that were in game stayed in game tho, unless they logged out like me

You mean the login server i assume. DDOS attacking hon achieves nothing, i really hope that the probable 12year kids that are doing it get taken to court and sued. Pisses me off when people achieve nothing online with DDOS attacks and just ruin my night of fun.

Ye i am in the same boat. Completely abandoned dota in HoN beta due to me disliking the community. Obviously the community isn't entirely new there is still the old ragers but at least noone is spouting "MAP HACKS" every 5minutes like in dota pubs. might actually be forced to go play LoL

haha, try playing devourer pharaoh or any hero that can use skill out of your vision range, you'll get those maphack comments sooner or later

just don't be under any illusion that the community is any better there (yes i've tried all)

Dota/Hon is all about manning up. If you can't, you can sacrifice quality of gameplay to have your hand held in LoL. No more L word though please.

So I've recently come to really love running a hellbringer slither lane, its quite good and with a flux and hb slither youve got the starting of a really sick teamfight there.
